One home ground

I’m big fan of the one home ground , how do you expect the players to be passionate when they don’t have a home and I think the way the media and team always talk up LO compared to CSS affects CSS as a home ground .
Stick with one

We have a shocking record at Leichhardt

Actually we don't.

56.47% win rate at LO (48/85)
44.05% WR at CSS (37/84)
30.77% WR at Bankwest (4/13)
41.85% WR at Homebush (36/86)
38/10% WR at SFS (16/42)

All-time win record is 43%, so we are a 13% better side at LO.

Our recent record is atrocious, and Campbelltown has nothing to do with it, I said ditch the suburban grounds as they are no advantage to us

Last 8 seasons would make interesting reading ...or even 2021 0/1 0% beaten by the wooden spoon favorites

Spot on Happy, our early success has not been replicated for years at the old girl, the stats are very misleading

Leichhardt is the only ground I actually feel we get a home ground advantage from. Campbelltown has no feeling and is only a 'home' ground in terms of geography, and even then that's tenuous at best since Wests is really inner-west to mid-west Sydney and not the south-west.

If Concord oval was feasible from a public transport perspective, it would be the best option, especially with the centre of excellence now complete.

Is there a club anywhere in any competition in any sport that plays at half a dozen locations a season? It’s just utterly bizarre that this is still the clubs position after 20years. The argument that we needed to do it for financial reasons is just pathetic and shows the priorities of the club are messed up. We are in reasonable financial shape (one rich owner, one of handful of clubs that turn a profit, massive support base), just move forward.

it should be one ground
ANZ or SFS
1 boutique game at campbletown vs Manly
1 boutique game at Leichardt against Souths or Roosters
Scrap Tamworth

That would be a great start, they need to make the call, wear the fan backlash and move forward, if we had a 70% win record you could argue a case against, but we don't

LO holds 20k not sure why the 9k yesterday I though football had no covid restrictions

Definitely covid restrictions. But Homebush and Bankwest can still hold more than 20k. Playing at a 9k max park sums up our club. No ambition.

Nomads

Grey nomads, roaming around waiting to get called up.

Grey and orange get it right

Must be a good sales pitch to sell the club to prospective players....."you get to travel all over the country, you'll never be in the same place too long".

You can tell by the amount of quality players who reject us for less dollars at a host of clubs, even the Dogs who are win less can seal the deal

Souths ,Rorters,Slimeys, Sharks, Dragons Bulldogs Pamfers should be at Stadium Australia if travelling well a crowd of 30K would be expected out of town teams should be scheduled for LO and CSS teams like Cowboys,Warriors,Titans, Storm,Broncos and Manly ie teams that don't have a travelling supporter base you can not scrap a country venue if we want to attract kids and Indigenous kids from the country you have to put yourself out there

it takes a game away from ticketed members the Tamworth game play trial games there instead of camobletown or Leichardt
other teams don't all play in country areas Penrith do at bathurst

So does Magic round in Queensland our two games have been home games!!!

The ground you play at means sweet bugger all ..if you are good enough you win wherever you play..

besides lining up for 15 minutes to have a pee is part of the charm..

2020 - 1/3
2019 - 2/3
2018 - 1/3
2017 - 2/4
2016 - 2/4
2015 - 1/4

Yeah pretty average over the last few years to be honest.

Still not good enough should be in the high 70% The Magpies went 3 years undefeated at Lidcombe Oval when Tommy was there they were an unfashionable team but played with guts and determination

I'm sorry you are off your meds. Even the Storm at AAMI Park only have a 74% win record in 10+ seasons.

And look what they have achieved it's even now leaked down to the Forum that Mediocrity is acceptable

I don't understand? 56% win rate is not shocking, which is what @851 said. It's not elite, but it's not bad either. If Tigers had winning record of 56% at all home venues we'd be a regular finals team.

9 wins from 22 games since 2015, yeh what a fortress, no where near 56%, try 40%
