One six and seven

Get the spine settled as first priority, then the back row forwards along with big wingers. WT have none of the spine settled although it looks like Liddell as 9 for next season. The others can all be replaced by someone new.

Disagree. No spine will win you anything behind a pack that gets dominated under the current rules.

Get a pack that pack that control the game and a side that does not give up points. From there you can look for spine that can play football off the back of that.

ATM the only person i would give another contract for next year is Mclntyre, great tackling technique

im a bit iffy on seyfarth, he needs leg drive

Really, what does it matter if Benji plays on. We’re struggling either way in 2021. The key is what we do with Packer and Reynolds money to set us up in 2022. We’re treading water till then.

And probably BJ’s money.

No. He’s signed till end of 2022.

According to this his final year is a club option: https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/01/23/2020-signings-tracker-nrl-rosters-signings--contracts-for-all-16-teams/#weststigers

Our biggest issue is actually AD.
Sure we get caught up in his ability to take a bomb but he stiffles our attack in a massive way.

90% it gets to him he runs slow and holds it, he doesn’t pass it, he doesn’t run with intent, he isn’t supporting & he isn’t a ball player.

It’s clear Madge has spotted this as the last 2 games he is playing Mbye at the back to change a few of these.

AD as a center or 5/8th won’t solve these problems either he just isn’t a spine class player or a delivery type player. He has potential yadda yadda but his natural play is to hold and run.

He tries hard but it is costing the team in a big way.

Yes Benji, Brooks, Mbye and Reynolds are terrible this year but the key signing for us also isn’t up to it either.

Shhhh, people won't like that lol.

But you are 100% correct.

I go by what the club announces. They say the end of 2022. Too much grey area round club and player options.

It matters greatly. Forget the fact he's cheap. There's a reason why he's cheap. Don't expect to get quality out of a bargain basement ageing player. Benji has proven over and over that he is not able to play finals. His ability is so bad now that it's embarrassing. He makes Anasta look like an invincible. We simply can't afford to have him hogging a spot in the squad let alone the team. The best spot for him is off the field. Both on game day and training days.
