OPEN TRAINING SESSION

To be honest guys, they looked smooth out there. Tedesco was running angles & seems to have kept his speed. Nofoaluma didn't seem to hampered by his injury.
The forwards looked solid with Woods leading the pack.
I to have high hopes for Santi, think he will play a bit of 1st grade this year.
1 thing I did notice was how much JT got involved and was constantly talking with boys, but he had a lot of chats with Lamar Liolevave think he might be a surprise pick come round 1.

All up team looked good & I think Tigers fans have a genuine reason to be excited in 2015 !

Also littletiger Lawrence & Richards combined on the Left side for most of the training.

Thanks for all this info POM much appreciate it

What interests me is what the impact of a new coach may have on the more fringe players.

A bloke like Brown, as Martymcfly noted, training his guts out because he would see a totally different career proposition under the new coach (vs how he fared under the Potter regime, regardless of whose fault that was).

I can imagine the change of coaching staff and structure, with removal of any perceived prejudicial barriers, would be a boon to performance of those on the cusp of FG, even if only for 6 months or so until the dust settled.

So I'm not surprised to hear about the up-and-comers really digging in this pre-season.

Did Curtis Sironen train or is he still injured ?

My understanding is that Sirro is training but not doing full contact work yet such as opposed sessions.

Apparently there is another one at Concord Oval on Tuesday. Might head on down and report back. Anyone else going?

There's a members day there on Friday evening if that's what you mean.

Shame I can't go on Tuesday. Hopefully some forum members go and they give us an insight to how the players are doing.

He didn't say Brown was "training his guts out". And what "perceived prejudicial barriers" are you referring to? Are you involved in the Nathan Brown career in any way? Or, just a bit over-excited at the return of the footy season?
