4/09/2010 10:34:39 PM

To mark the exciting return to finals football, Wests Tigers will conduct an open training session at Concord Oval this Tuesday, September 9, from 10am to 12pm.

This is the only opportunity for Wests Tigers supporters to watch the team train and wish them good luck as they prepare for their home qualifying final against the Sydney Roosters at the Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday, September 11, at 6.30pm..

Please note as the team will be training, there will be no official autograph signing session .

A Merchandise Marquee will be available for supporters to purchase all their Wests Tigers merchandise, including the 2010 Finals T-shirts.

Come on down to Concord Oval and be apart of Wests Tigers finals fever!

What!!!!! Open training session…

You mean my NO EXCUSSES password is useless.....

stupid Wests Tigers...

Meanwhile on the other side of town Roosters fans have been invited to the SFS to see a Roosters open training session

I hope there wont be any Eastern Suburbs spys at the Wests Tigers open training session.

Do you have to be a member or can us general admission crowd attend need to know to work schedule & pull grandkids out of school.

Seriously what on earth are any teams going to learn if they are watching one training session.

If it is indeed Tuesday i'll see you there.

Anyone else go today?

A few observations I made

No sign of Daniella or McKinnon and Ellis did not complete the training session but didn't look too serious

Gibbs and Fulton both tested out their injuries. Gibbs still looks very ginger and not confident about his chances but reckon Fulton will play

Skandallis was going hard on the bike so assuming his injury must be coming along alright

Marshall, Lui and Farah were working on their kicking games while the forwards were doing tackling and wrestling drills and the backs were practising taking high balls.

Moltzen was moving freely and you would never pick he was coming back from a knee reconstruction.

The backs that were training were Moltzen, Brown, Ayshford, Tuiqiri, Meaney, Ryan, Fitzhenry and I think it was Latu

I was only there for the last hour so if anyone has anything to add feel free to do so

I keep hearing that Moltzen wont play until next year but gee it would be good to maybe have him on the bench. i know he has not played for ages but as far as i know he has been training strongly for the past 4-5 weeks.

I hope Gibbs is right to go. The Tigers will need an extra prop on the bench this week against the Chooks, and Gibbs defence will also be very important.

Thanks for info on what was going on at the open training session today. Good to know that Moltzen is back training. I still think that our defence is a bit suspect, so hopefully they will be working on that, and yes I hope Gibbs will be back, anyone heard how Lawrence is progressing !

Moltzen will not be coming back this year, definately.

Im not so sure, i think Sheens might use him at some point this year.
