Open Training Session

Moltzen will not be coming back this year, definately.

Im not so sure, i think Sheens might use him at some point this year.

Well we've finished 3rd without him. I would feel a bit annoyed if i was in the side and got punted in the finals to make room for moltzen. Sure i'd love to have him there but with no match fitness etc i think the blokes there can get the job done

Sometimes we have to do whats best for the team..
If Lui has to sacrifice his spot for Molz so we can win the GF so be it .. I'm sure he will agree..Its not like Molzten hasnt played all year , he did start unfortunately couldnt play the whole year ..

Although Id love Moltz to be playing in this finals series I cant agree with Love WestsTigers point about Lui. As far as im concerned if Lui has played there for most of the whole season while Molten has been injured and done a good job of it then its his right to play out the finals series. If Sheens feels Moltzen is a better player he can take his position next year.

He won't. He's only 5-6 months post op. The club won't risk him. I really don't know why people keep hoping he will play again this year. It simply isn't going to happen.

And this is where the issue lies.

It is arguable whether having Molzten over Lui at halfback is best for the team. My personal view is that Lui is the way to go for now.

If Moltzen was to come back this season, he would be off the pace, hesitant and severely targeted. He needs an off-season to get confidence in his knee and his whole game in general. Lui is the best option for this season. Come 2011, Moltzen may be the better option in the halves.

Yeah he shouldn't be played this season, it wouldn't end well for him IMO.

See how he goes in next years trials then see how he compares to Lui.

Is Lui eligible for NYC next year?

Have you ever played footy mate?
Moltzen coming into this side after what has transpired this year for him, could only hamper progress.
