Just when you think the management of this club can’t get any dumber they go and do a thing like this.....

Why is it dumb ?

It’s all about the timing. Why have an open training session for half an hour to bring the team to the people at a time when there are a lot of upset supports. I’m not saying only do this stuff when you are up but surely there could be a better time than now. It’s almost like they have no idea how to read the room.

Its hard though as the club is openly criticised for not engaging the Campbelltown community, they are playing there next weekend so are holding a training session to try and generate support in the area.

They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

How many punters turn up to the ambush ?
Honest answer !

Depending on the venue, we have had 60-70 probably at our events at Ashfield. Our event at the Sackville filled the room we were in and probably was pushing the 50 mark. Our last event at the Wests Ashfield was a little disappointing and had about 40 people, but the game was at ANZ and we had no player representation at the event.

We are looking at doing a couple of inground game day events in the coming months and I think they will be popular.

We are currently in the process of mapping out what the rest of the year will look like.

I will also say every venue we have attended has asked us to come back.

Why do you ask?

How did that genius idea of our fans raising their scarfs to show our stripes/colours go yesterday Mr Cochise?

That was really flat yesterday, having the ANZAC ceremony made it a bit difficult. It has been received better than I thought it would if I am honest.

But for 1/2 an hour,
I’ll be there, but I’m not expecting to see much of a training session

How I would love to be there for this...

I want to see what score the traffic cones rack up against us ....

They're not as damaging as when Royce was in charge.

Has a side ever been booed off the field after training?

Wasn't it just training on Sunday

Apparently that's what they thought.

Yeah ....but back then we scrambled far better v the traffic cones

Now they give up and don't even chase ...some players can't even tackle the cones when they aren't even facing us and are motionless
