Tedesco needs to come in for Moylan next game.

Laurie Daley needs to get the arse as well .

Although woods has a good work rate , he's a plodder in the origin arena IMO .

Ferguson was crap .

woods made like 80 metres in the first 20 but then daley was like better put him on the bench for 50 minutes

Daley's a worse coach than our own Jason Taylor.
Woodsie had enough time to go out for a steak dinner by the time he came back on .

Bench rotation was Garbage

i agree with Hoddo. Woods is too slow for Origin, also no offloads from memory

Oh sorry the two changes

The selectors and the team you play against , maybe start playing Victoria or Tasmania and then work your way up to Qld

Defence wins matches. - so thats what you get.
Ugly as and dull dull dull. Taking nothing away from the players who were courageous.
But great spectacle it wasn't

That was one of the lowest quality games I have ever seen.

Woods isn't an impact player but he needs to improve his game. He needs to bust the line a little more with footwork, get quicker play the balls and get some more offloads. I think he is the same at origin level as he is for us.

Lowest quality I've seen in a while for origin.

I'd like to know the average age of all the players combined tonight…must be up there with the eldest ever?

That was the worst performance of Rugby League by a NSW team that I have ever seen. Many were playing as individuals, especially the centres. There were no bodies in motion, no support and a lot of flat footed plays. Horrible, just horrible. If NSW continue to play in that manner it will be another decade before NSW wins another series.

that was the worst game of origin i've ever seen. in fact, worse than most of the tigers games this year.

low quality play from both sides, qld were so crap after the first couple of sets until the 30 minute mark.

You won - but you would be joking if you are getting carried away with that win.

QLD were very ordinary and NSW were a fraction above pathetic.

Just lucky for you that you were not playing a decent team.

Maybe when Daly retires NSW maybe able to pick a half decent team.

Daly said after the game he doesn't need to change anyone - Oh! well.

Quite normal for Game 1's to be close affairs , usually not real pretty

Game 2 will be much better , teams will see their mistakes

Too true, Mike. NSW played well as individuals, but terrible as a team. No bodies in motion. Just think of Joey in his heyday with half a dozen Knights players in support and he could pass at will to any of them. No ganging up in defence as too many options. Those Knights teams had much better teamwork than this mob.

Thought Moylan handled it well, but he can't beat players like Teddy can. I hope Teddy has a big TV to watch game 2 on, though.

Really don't think Teddy would have made much difference in that game. There was no space between the teams. Moylan did ok I thought given the level of defence.
The difference between the two teams - a ridiculous penalty.

Reynolds was picked for his kicking game… Well, he forgot to bring it with him. 😕
As for Fifita... Gawd he plays the ball so slow. Gets up slow, smirks or smiles ( don't know which, it all looks the same with him) at the opposition and then plays the ball.
By doing this, he kills the momentum and gives the opposition time to set their line.
Not a smart thing to do.
To win Origin Daley needs to pick players that are not only tough and resilient, but also have some smarts. Fifita seems to have very little of it.

This Blues team tonight, reminded me a bit of the WT. No matter how many times they got the ball near the opposition try line, i just knew they wouldn't be able to score. :sunglasses:

The bunker and Refs are ruining the game.

The refs were shocking but the bunker worked tonight.

The Bunker got the Morris Try correct and it wasn't a try but there just boring the crap out of the game, Camera 6 checking the grass isn't cut to short, camera 8 checking his changed his undies :blah :blah :blah.
Have a decision and going to the board " Piss the Bunker system off ".

LOL FT…. It's starting to become a bit tedious, i agree!

Can't disagree. My BH kept dosing off and he's never, ever done that before. :astonished:
Zzzzzzzzz, nighty night folks.

Probably because we are playing the Roosters this weekend

Then I'll be cock a hoop if we win

Or maybe shaking a tail feather

Or taking to the feather duster 😱pen_mouth:

Daley has pulled one out of the hat ..blame the refs ! Might as well blame someone, one has to overcome dubious decisions ,good one Daley you certainly presented a great turned out side especially all the pensioners you want to keep selecting well done.

No game breakers, really boring game. Tired, one out stuff, no 2nd phase play…............it was like watching some Tigers games this year.

Robbie, was fine, dummy half service was slow though in the first half.

Moylan offered nothing, the halves offered nothing.

The refs were crap, but there were some bad decisions affecting both sides. Would have been nice though if QLD were pinged for being inside the 10 in that first half though, more than the once they were penalised.
