State of O to me is the most over hyped game of football invented that is just a ratings tool for the nine and fox. In saying that tonights game although won once again by QLD was a great contest that the better side lost. The referring particularly in the first half was appalling,NSW forwards won the right to dominate but the refs allowed players like Smith to be MILES offside all night.

I am not a blues tragic, far from it, but I hate to see a team get pulled back by the ref and that was clear tonight. QLD are a great side side and have been for decade they do not need a leg up

You sound bitter lol…go to bed it's a new day tomorrow.

It would be laughable how oblivious Johns and Gus are to Tedesco when asked where the Blues can improve if it weren't so sad.

Tedesco may be an improvement, but I think Johns and Gould were lamenting NSW's inability to cultivate leadership and playmaking in the halves - a fullback isn't really the answer if the halves can't ever take control of the game.

NSW have probably dominated 2 games and are down 2-0

Frizzell was brilliant for NSW tonight and Papalii was just as good for Qld

NSW need to sack their selectors for Game 3 and go with some youth , hoping Tedesco gets his deserved shot

Qld make the right decisions at the right times almost every time , but we got lucky not taking the penalty goal when up 16-4

Sorry Sabre

Andrew Johns…"I'll tell you what it is...there are enough quick play the balls..enough opportunities created...Our creative players are not getting the ball quick enough or when they need it'
The 8th 'Immortal'... what the hell would he know...dumbo...

Tedesco had every right to smash his TV tonight watching that crap that Moylan produced .

As for Laurie Daley , I'd rather see Taylor coach the Blues … And that's saying something !

There are two things that kill the Blues,
1\. Halves lacking creativity, the forwards rolled forward tonight, but the halves did nothing with it. Maloney threatened at times, but couldn't find the final ball. For all the crap Pearce copped over the years, it's not like there's been anyone else who has stepped it up.

2\. Bird & Gallen, the amount of times we get a roll on and are on the attack only for one of these two to try and ball play or take a settling run is ridiculous. They've both had some great performances for the Blues in the past, but if I were Loz I would tell them that neither touches the ball inside Queensland's red zone after tackle 2\. They kill more attacks than John Morris.

Don't go there Geo.
2 grubbers in origin 1 constituted a great game apparently.
I hope the same team gets trotted out for game 3\. No rookie deserves to get a game 3 pick.

You have to give credit to QLD - they always find a referee to help get them home.

:roll I love your reactions when you lose each year

Reaction or comment?
Not sure how Queenslanders can continue to deny the referees look after them?
I'll grant Daley is a goose of a coach but for donkeys years NSW has been robbed.

Would have to agree with Joey on that one. I don't know why Bird and Gallen Insist on playing first receiver and take a hit up when we have space and QLD back pedalling.

Proof even the Blues hate Farah
BLUES players singled out Robbie Farah for criticism in the wake of Game One because the hooker went away from NSW’s game plan when the match was on the line. The Courier-Mail understands Blues players have told Farah to service the halves more.
–----------------------

Is this true and did he service the halves more tonight?

Not much help when the creative players are throwing passes over the sideline , Benji would have been proud of that one. Maloney was Rocks and diamonds.

Better game than the first one, but, the Blues…..

Moylan just offers nothing........Reynolds who? Maloney tried, better runner of the ball rather than organising anything though.

Freddy said it best last night, "if you have the right face and jersey, you won't get penalised". Bring the sin bin back, blatant spear tackle and I was thinking they weren't even going to penalise them for it.

Yep Freddy was spot on.
They are great side no doubt about it and they are better than us the records prove it. However there is a struck match between them in most games and the calls are often crucial when it comes down to a series win and a series lost

Cronk holds frizzle back initially in Gagais try… We all know he ankle tapped him... Cronks illegal play gave them the inch they needed
No try

Thought the same thing last night- but not one word was said about it in the commentary, there looked to be a bit of holding back by Cronk. Refs too scared to make the hard calls as usual.

They are the words that came from Joey's mouth in the post Origin wrap up…I see Gus is also critical of the "selfishness" of NSWs most senior players...

Change is needed...NSW have plenty of young talent if picked that can be moulded into a formidable side...
