Origin 11 *Live thread..

Look NSW got a few bad calls I agree , but NSW has to start learning to take it chances , that's the difference , Qld grab most of its chances , NSW grab some but make crucial errors in the game changing moments

Any news on Farah and his friendly fire injury ??

Whats the go with Woodsy , some of his hit ups were monumental last night

Hey Woodsy , your club and its fans wouldn't mind seeing that sort of passion in some of your charges from time to time

Better game than the first one, but, the Blues…..

Moylan just offers nothing........Reynolds who? Maloney tried, better runner of the ball rather than organising anything though.

Freddy said it best last night, "if you have the right face and jersey, you won't get penalised". Bring the sin bin back, blatant spear tackle and I was thinking they weren't even going to penalise them for it.

The weird thing was, that they didn't really put pressure on Moylan at all in the first half, almost all of the kicks to him were just bog standard sitters , without chasers any where him.
It was as if they didn't care if he caught the ball and ran it.
He certainly wasn't a danger to them

I don't know what the hype about Moylan is about. Seems like a Nice bloke , but I've never seen him rip a game apart.
I admit I haven't seen every game he's played, but in the ones I have he's been ok, but not what you'd expect for a bloke who gets the wraps that he does

My thoughts on NSW

Moylan - Solid but not offering much. Should have been across for the kick for Gagai's third try.
Mansour - Nope. Could be all over. Defensive reads are terrible.
Jennings - Tried hard but handling errors at critical times. Made some poor decisions in defense.
Walker - Just no. Not on the bench certainty not at centre.
Ferguson - Might be back on the vodka cruisers. Defends like someone playing out of position. Attack not good enough.
Maloney - I thought he was okay. Big effort to run 90m for that try. Obviously overshadowed by JT but not his fault.
A Reynolds - If Laurie has a game plan he doesn't seem to follow it. Looks like he's meeting his outside backs for the first time. Better than Pearce still…
Gallen - As with game 1\. Passion is there but he's just not capable of producing what he used to. Game 3 should be his last shot.
G Bird - Can't fault his effort. Probably not his best game but his overall record means anothet chance.
Jackson - Did his job. I'd like to see him get a bit more aggressive in defense.
Tamou - For me disappointed again. Seems down on form.
Farah - Best attacking performance at Origin for years. Made some good ground from dummy half.
Woods - Better aggression. Got things moving. Play the balls still too slow.

J Bird - Fantastic. Great debut. GI was crapping house bricks. The future.
Klemmer - Good as always. Going better than Tamou.
Frizell - Looked the part. Could have scored thr match winner if fumbles didn't stuff it up.
Fifita - Offers nada. No depth in his running. Needs a serious talking to.

Not surprised with the result, I am surprised NSW got as close as they did in the scoreline though. Some of Qld tries were pretty soft and Jennings will wish he had glue on his fingers last night. Wholesale changes required for next year.

I didn't get to record the game, during the last 10 mins or so of the game Reynolds got penalised for pushing Thaiday, he was pointing at his crotch. Did Thaiday grab them? Wish the biff was back on…
