Origin 111*Live Game Thread...

If only it wasn't Jennings that scored the matchwinner. He is the biggest passenger in the NSW team, pretty much cost them the series with ordinary games in Origin 1 and 2, was useless for 79 minutes tonight but has just secured his spot in the team for as long as Loz is in charge. That is the only huge disappointment out of this victory, well that and the fact that Cammy Smith wasn't punched into next week by somebody. Yippee yi yi yippee

There will be a get square in the second half and they will win by 10\. Our 3 and 4 offer nothing…blues that is and Farah is below S O O standard now but I guess there are no other options

One kick of Farah was soft othewise nothing wrong with his game. Teddy may have been selfish with the ball preventing a try, no. 2 was screaming for the ball

When you get a chance have a look at the replay, I have never seen,,at this level a d/h throw so many balls over the head of the 1st receiver. Farah service was shocking and his kicking game poor. He probably made 60 tackles and the effort was their, but execution was poor

Agreed. I was defending him in the pub but it was probably Rob's worst game for NSW since the game he played injured when Bellyache was coach.

Yeah he looked good at times in the first two games but I can't think of much positive out of tonight. I don't think he's an 80 minute player at the moment and he should lay off the kicks in general play.

Have to ask the question to all NSW supporters.
Did that feel like a win?

A win is a win - it was the most exciting game of three as there seemed to be a lot more feeling in it and a finish straight out of the past rather than one side closing it out with 10 minutes to go.

It was worth any thing, to see the smirk that Cammy was walking around with after the Qld try, get wiped off his face a minute or two later .
Also Good to see the Toads get the s#*^s at the end.

That smirk was because QLD were being shafted yet his side was, against all odds, winning.
Anyway, he got MOS and the trophy so I think the smirk turned into a pretty big smile despite the loss.

My oath it did. Arrogant wankers were salivating at a white wash and we got then at the post.
A sweet way to end the series.
And gallen potting the goal to rub it in.
I loved it.

Where did Queensland get shafted?

When you have 10,000 sets on qlds line and don't even look like scoring then qld get one or two cracks and cross the stripe, then have to rely on a freakish try in the dying minutes to pull it out of the fire in a dead rubber, don't get me wrong I was yahooing when Jennings crossed just as much as any NSW supporter but when you are dominating possession for that long and still end up behind on the scoreboard 2mins from full-time it's hard to feel like you've won. Take that last try away and if you're honest we'd all be laying the boot into NSW right now, calling for Daley's head and several players to be never considered for origin again. We were inept for the majority of the game.

The refs didn't do as cammy demanded. You'd think after so many wins they would take a loss gracefully. They keep on trying to convince us they are humble.

Why watch footy if you can't enjoy your team winning on the bell?
Bloody hell. That was great.

I thought Qlder's were supposed to have some magical Origin gumption that never let them lose? What happened to that.
They had the lead with 3 minutes remaining, celebrated like they had the game won, their best ever player misses a kick that most park players would slot and then they let a hack like Jennings stomp over 4 or 5 of them to score the match winner. Whatever happened to doing it for Cozza? Myths are always meant to be shattered I guess.
If that was NSW that gave up the win after having the game in both hands then that bullshit myth would have got repeated ad nauseum for the next 12 months, thank god it won't be.
