Some of our players look like their done as origin players or just not up to it, but to be honest I've no idea who we pick to match QLD

He was everywhere, and came up with some big plays diving on spilt balls, trapping that grubber from Moses, he belted someone and they lost the ball as well…also ran 135m and made 30 tackles in just 42 minutes.
He was a bigger version of Rueben Cotter who was also excellent again.

He probably carted the ball forward better than anyone else but I think Carrigan was again the best forward on the field. Huge workrate including a heap of clean up work in defence, played the link role exceptionally well, created the DCE linebreak. And half expected Walsh to get the honours given the judges typically overlook the forwards for spine players.

QLD just want it more, and it all starts with the allocation of matches, for which no more giving up of NSW home ground advantage every second year would be a good start.

I don’t think it’s giving it up, it’s about taking the game national. Agree QLD wanted it more, but if you’re good enough, at this level, you can win anywhere.
Question now is how to get more than 40k to Sydney game. Might be some attractive price deals on offer.

Keeping Cook at centre after HT when it was patently a failure just ended the Fittler/Alexander/Johns NSW Origin coaching clusterphuk!!

Should have put Cam Murray at centre and had
Stef playing more minutes in the middle. They're
deadshits the 3 of them but QLD miles ahead
anyway. Should, coulda, woulda & all that lol

Gallen was the last NSW that had any heart/passion for origin. No other squad has matched that era since

Unfortunately can’t deny his efforts- just don’t like him, not even sure why.

You hear that a lot about him.
I reckon he is too articulate and this leads a lot to think he is arrogant. It’s a shame as I usually find him to be humble and respectful of his opposition. He isn’t a mug lair or bragger, just a footy player who speaks well.
As a player…he is elite and will regain his Kangaroo jersey that was taken from him prematurely last year…at 34.

Thank phuk we didn't get the current NSW Origin form JAC!!!

He was appalling in every aspect - & so fricking stupid with his unco punch in the final seconds!

The "melees" were like a hen's party free for all - especially when Dora Carrigan flew in to Young 30 seconds after it had been settled!

was must watch TV. Imagine the same for those
who watched it in the 80's. Not having a sook,

He's always been great. Was tonight his 23rd origin? Gotta remember he was picked at 14 consistently through the lockyer/thurston/cronk dynasty. Love to hate him
