After yesterday, I was hoping Origin might prove me wrong. Bird should have played 5/8, he shuts down Thurston and Lockyer. Jennings was needed. Ennis has no creativty, and Kimmorley is on his last legs. The QLD halves will run rings around us.
Its almost like NSW and the Tigers run together. If NSW win, we will make the 8\. Chances, very very slim. 5 down for NSW, and looking like 5 fails for the Tigers.

That team is an absolute disgrace! Im struggling to find a possition were they actually picked the right player. The selectors have no idea what they are doing and should be sacked!! And im sure they will be after QLD easily win their 5th series in a row. There will be no decider in Sydney this year..

Qld will be well on their way to winning a 5th straight series based on tht NSW team for game 1\. It will be funny watching Ennis go missing when Qld roll NSW in the forwards, and Gidley at fullback is laughable.

Just watch us lose the first two games, make a whole heap of changes and win the third game after QLD hit the Red Bull and stilnox before game three.

Ennis on form deserves to be there over Farah.

If they name those players, this is the positions they should be in.
1\. Hayne
2\. Morris
3\. Lyon
4\. Cooper
5\. Tahu
6\. Gidley
7\. Kimmorley
However Tahu and Gidley are surely not the best they could find for those positions. Cooper and Lyon I can understand.
The thing that bugs me though is this team is yet again designed to defend against the impenetrable. No matter how good our backs are defensively you cannot hold out Inglis, Slater, Thurston, Lockyer et al. They needed to have more of a balance of attack and defense. Apart from Morris the backs aren't quick. Simply put, Jennings instead of Tahu and the whole backline looks much better.
Farah doesn't deserve to play Origin but having Lyon as the 6 and Kimmorley looking less than sharp lately for the Dogs, Ennis doesn't provide enough creativity at dummy half for my liking. I would have preferred even Gidley in there if this was the halves combination they were leaning towards.
As for the forwards, the non selection of Paul Gallen is a slap in the face to a man who despite playing for a shocking team still racks up stats greater than any backrower in NSW. To have Waterhouse, Learoyd-Lahrs and Idris chosen ahead of him in spots he could easily be is unjust.
Lastly, Brett White being a footballer is a myth. He got selected purely because he hit Steve Price with a lucky haymaker.
I hope to God we get pasted because this team deserves to. I can see a great skeleton of a team there but poor selections in key positions is going to really hurt them.
I am a NSW supporter but this team just pisses me off. I can't stand the Eagles, Dogs and the Dragons, so how could I support what is basically them with some filler?
If Tuqiri is selected for Qld I am supporting Qld. If he isn't, I mightn't even watch the game.
