That backline you have listed is basically our best case scenario at this point: JAC comes plus Abbey regains form after two knee recons (unlikely, but here's hoping)

Re Scolari....agree he is a prospect, but he is not eligible for NRL this year?

If Scolari is not on a development contract already the club has 3 options:


* Trial and train;

* Development contract (but can't play until June 30);

* Top 30 (unlikely);

Would be great if they give the younger ones like he and Riszk, Wilson etc a go at the 9s to see how they perform.

Scholari isn’t on a development contract, but might be upgraded during the year, these are the guys I know that are training with cc although still eligible for 20’s........scolari, Dillon , Felix smith, stevanovic and William kei, jankovic, no point mentioning the kids on development deals cause they will all play cc not 20’s. by about round 4 or 5 I’d like to see our cc backline look something like 1. Dillon, 2.scolari, 3. Hoffmann, 4.cini, 5. Lei, 6. Whoever, 7. Madden, hope to see us move Bradley back to the second row where he belongs. Obviously this won’t be the happening with guy in and out of first grade contention, but at some stage would like to see us stick with the kids I mentioned.

Aloai is another, hopefully he keeps his same form as last year and improves 10x more

Not only that, but somehow at 35 we are heading into a season with zero depth or X factor in the backs and hoping some Benji magic will get us home in tight games.
