Our ambition for the rest of the season and beyond?

Yeah Lee went on SEN and said the sacking was done on their own timeline. Totally didn't have anything to do with the fact that the Dogs sacked Barrett a week or two before and then Brown was marched so they had to move quick to avoid missing out on their target...

The whole thing stunk of a panicked move.
The day before Origin one...pfft

Who’s the dribbler who wrote this bullshit???

It's the one eyed Tiger and he has been doing it since I was a kid. I've moved areas and don't get to read it much now. I used to love when we were hopeless and you'd get the best bias commentary in the world.

Awesome stuff and thanks to whoever posted it first. That is the way I like my news. It's as realistic as Brooks salary in the mainstream media.

What do I want?
* The spine sorted, with decisions made on all the 4 positions and who will/can backup as needed to cover injuries.
* progress on developing these lot. Their basic skills or football nous have not advanced much at all under Maguire. Catching a pass, fielding a bomb, tactical kicking with some accuracy, running and backing up, quick play the balls, poor discipline have all been our worst enemy so many times.
* sort the wheat from the chaff and give the tap on the should early to players no longer wanted.
* Develop a strategy and marketing to show our area is an attractive place to live and work.
* Put out feelers for a new CEO- look for succession planning and tell Pascoe he has until end of season or at most next season to move on (No idea on when his current contract ends but I do think tome for new blood there)
* Sort out a home ground- if Leichhardt hasnt got the promised NSW govt funds (dont think it was announced in the budget), shift focus to Campbelltown and put our effort there.

I would like to see us go in a different direction. Business execs are about themselves usually - not too far behind the politicians. Perhaps we can find a WT supporter high up in the Military - someone who knows how to plan, someone who knows that no plan survives first contact - someone who knows how to make tough unemotional calls. Is there an ex General lurking out there? I know that the big Ozzie Cozzie is a union guy so he's out. Anyone got some contacts - maybe a copper, ambo or firey would also fit the bill!
There's 2 blokes whose names I would 😍 to put forward and I'm sure they will know who I mean, but I wont because they would both tell me [nicely] to stick my suggestion up my jumper.
So what's the point of my post 🤔 dunno really but I cant say I didnt try eh 🤣

Dunno.?.? Someone may be able to confirm on here
From this past offseason a DT article on how it works. Not sure on the last point tho with the R12 rule.

■ Clubs can have unlimited players

■ Players are paid $1000 a week outside the salary cap

■ They can last an unlimited amount of time but generally run up until the Christmas break and then are re-evaluated

■ Players cannot earn more than $60,000, which is what a development player earns

■ Players must be promoted into a top 30 or development spot before they can play first grade

So in theory as long as they are on a maximum of 60k and are on a dev contract then we can play them as they are excluded from being counted in the top 30, if that's the case then hopefully we start to see more new faces being given a run in first grade. Thanks wt2k.

You'll love it 🔥
I'm sure I will Demps. I had a 'look inside the book' feature and liked what i read.
I'll let you know how it goes but I have about a dozen other kindle books to read first, but just cant settle down enough to concentrate on reading anything else but WTF.

For sure.
Sheens should have had a signature the day after Madge was released. Unprofessional conduct rarely attracts top talent.
API and Papa specifically must be having sleepless nights.

Why?

99% of the time when a coach is sacked a new coach isn’t already signed and ready to announce it always takes 6-8 weeks.

They usually have them lined up.
Why sack the guy if there is no replacement?
How do you know there isn't one.
If the next gig falls thru the board will cover their arse by saying they didn't rush into the decision and gave it considerable thought.
Nah that sucks, they stuffed up.
It's just something WT would do though.
