Our backline when Tui comes back ?

isnt Tui meant to be back round 5 or 6? I hope he comes back in round 6 vs the dogs. i can see this happening… (in your best ray warren voice) "ennis out of dummy half gets a clearing kick away. Tuiaki takes it on the full and gets those massive legs pumping, ennis charges down-field and is the first one there to attempt to tackle the giant winger. Tuiaki goes right through him and ennis hasnt moved after being run over by a semi-trailer."
Gus gould: NO NO NO NO NO. what was ennis thinking.
(play is held up for a few minutes as the bulldogs trainers look for ennis's teeth while he is being stetchered off)

I think there are just a lot of peoples opinions in this thread without much inside knowledge. Opinions are never right or wrong, its what each person thinks, and every one thinks differenty.

I think we need to hear more from the wests tigers camp and not any other news limited or fox shit they try and throw at us .. Alot of these reports are clutching straws - when the medical staff sort it, and he recovers he will be back then. I cant wait, but i think we have some players capable of playing a different style down that side and still being successful with .

He is no Tui, but i thought Mitch Brown held his own against parra. A few more games from his and may not turn out to be a dud buy after all..

probably

1.ryan
2.tuiaki
3.ayshford
4.lawrence
5.tuqiri

however, i feel mullaney will fill the fullback role eventually

anyone else think mullaney should get a run?

He won't be back by then. Round 16 would be closer to the mark.

Not at this stage. Mullaney is too small, not strong enough and not ready for first grade.

Sorry if theres already a Topic on this… but i havnt spotted one.
What is your backline after Tui comes back ?...
Mine looks like this...

1\. Beau Ryan
2\. Lote Tuqiri
3\. Blake Ayshford
4\. Chris Lawrence
5\. Tuiaki
6\. Benji Marshall
7\. Tim Moltzen

I'd swap Ryan and Tuqiri around. Sheens has made it clear that it his intention. Tuqiri would be wasted on the right hand side if Tui goes back on the left. Potentially, he could be devastating chiming into the attack from number 1 - imagine Marshall with the ball either passing along the line to Lawrence, or Ellis, or a short pass back inside to Tuqiri on the charge. Magic.
That would be my dream backline. Reality is Tui is a long way off. He still limps when walking and will he return the same player? who knows. And, who knows who else will get an injury in the meantime.
Theme for another thread maybe, but what are we gonna do round origin time - we could lose tuqiri, Lawrence, KG, Robbie? but getting ahead myself here.
