woah woah woah, everybody calm down. Does anyone here or the OP understand what "**cumulative**" means? This is the **CUMULATIVE** graph of our margin and all it really shows is we havent had a period of a positive margin since Sheens. It DOESNT mean Potters time was worse than Sheens, Taylor was worse again and Madge is the worst. It is CUMULATIVE (adding on previously). If anything it shows that prior to this season Madge had arrested the slide.

The graph does show however that Potter was the worst coach followed by Taylor. Ivan steadied the ship and Madge actually had us getting better for a minute only to drop off at an amazingly bad rate.

Yeah but it ain't going up. It's going in one direction, that's the take away from this.

Yeah not really. Coincidentally (or not) it is also representing the period since we last made the 8. If you have a positive margin, you are in the 8, if you are outside the 8 its negative. This graph tells us nothing other than we havent made the 8 since 2011 which is hardly news.

The take away for me from that graph is that it proves that Madge is our best coach since Sheens.

Why do we start on -400? Assuming this is the cumulative result from our inception to 2012?

Yep that's right

Really? At the start of the 2012 season, the difference between points "scored" and points "conceded" from the previous 12 years was only 400?

2005, 2010 and 2011 would all have been positive.

Well he's had the highest ceiling but also the sharpest decline
