Our kicking game

Wouldn't it be great to have the best of both worlds.
Attacking flair as only Wests Tigers can.
And…..
precision kicking, be it deft grubbers, sky-high bombs or distance finders.
I guess it fits into whatever game plan is on the go.
Personally. I have never liked the teams who rely 999% on kicks for just about all their scoring opportunities.
However, a little mix would be OK.
Just for variety and keeping the others guessing.

There were a couple of times against the Roosters we didn't make too many metres in a set and were forced to kick from well within our own half, Benji kicked it straight to the fullback or winger on all these occasions.

Just really think we need a third kicking option to take some pressure off Benji and Farah when it comes to kicking for field position.

anytime you kick from well within your half you are going to struggle to find the ground with good distance.
if you are getting dominated coming out of your end the defense has the advantage.
what has helped soward is that he has had a pack to kick off of.it's not often someone has a great kicking game when their pack is dominated coming out from their own end.

but i do agree that only having farah at dummy half and benji kicking will make it even easier for the defense to put pressure on benji .

funny that when moltzen came into first grade the club throws out a fuzzy story about moltzen having the best boot in the club and we never get to see it.

i care more about kicking inside the opposition half more.
there really is only so much you can do when kicking around your own 30.
