Our kingdom for a halfback

why is one of the world's best attacking players taking the ball one off the ruck?

And a contender for a blues centre spot playing five- eight.

Which part of the brains trust devised this?

There must be a park footballer running around concord or campbelltown who can pass, tackle and kick a bit.

i don't care who it is.

It seems like lunacy to me.

we look limp with benji shovelling the ball from where he is at halfback.

Were we any better off with Humble on the bench, Benji at half and Lawrence lost at 5/8??? Not from what I saw, the only benefit out of that decision is that Ayshford got a chance to gain some form which he achieved.

I agree take the fortnight to train with Miller the whole time!!! It's the perfect time to train for a new half

Sheens might be forced to do that based on tonight.

Yes definitely Miller…or Humble, or Chisolm who has been very good for BRET the last month. I hate to say it but the Lawrence experiment looked terrible tonight and against a stronger team I don't think we would have even gotten close to winning that game.

Exactly. Only positive was Ayshford's performance. He deserves to keep his spot in 2 weeks time. So if Sheensy doesn't want to promote one of the NYC wingers put Lawrence back to centre, slide reddy to the wing and give Lote a spell anywhere but first grade.

I thought it went well. Benji needs to run it more but that was the same when he was playing wider.

Lawrence was more involved and that was a good thing.

Surely there is a reason and this is a once off Lawrence at 6\. It won't work, surely they will train with a 7 for the next fortnight, surely? :S :S

Play humble at half, ayshford and Lawrence as centers and reddy on the wing drop lote. Give BMm more game time. Then when we win games give me the head coaches job and I'll play the right player in the right position.

Probably to ensure rowdy isn't selected for the blues

Please as soon as somebody hears who Tigers are training with for the next fortnight let us know.

I am dying to hear that they are training with Humble or Miller at 7.

I don't care who it is, just one of them please.

Miller @ 7 Just do it Tim

Leave him there and whatever happens happens

Maybe Sheens has big bucks on the NYC side winning the premiership and he is leaving Miller there for that reason

Its the only one that makes sense

Surely Not???

I don't think Humble has done anything wrong, but I think both Miller and Chisholm (from what I have seen) offer better playmaking options, as well as kicking games. Humble has been pretty much a link man, and while I appreciate he puts in every week, the Tigers clearly need a solution at 7 for the rest of the season, and Miller and Chisholm look to be the only other options with genuine playmaking ability IMO.

I agree I think just put Miller there any leave him for the year.

Even if he has plenty of shit games, it's gotta be better than lawrence 6 benji 7 and he will improve.

Just do it. If they are shit against Warriors with Miller there I don't care, just do it anyway.

I am just wondering if there is anymore to the Humble story. It just seemed rather strange to drop a half-back from the previous two week's performance. In both games we scored over 30 points (so the attack has been working) and while Parramatta stormed back with five tries, I don't seem to remember Humble being partiularly at fault defensively.

Given Humble got nada game time - is there any suggestion of an off field incident (not rumour mongering just trying to understand the decision).

Lawerance can't pass a long ball,,sorry seen enougth of young Miller to know he is not up to 1st Grade and doubt he ever will be. Young Siro if healthy could have a future??

Nothing off field.

The writing was on the wall from last weeks post match.

Whenever Sheens says something about a positional grouping you can guarantee it will be a performing fringe player punted. Last week he said he was going to have words with our playmakers about the capitulation it was always going to be Humble who copped it in the neck.

In the same way that you can expect to hear something about our ruck defence being slow in a few weeks and Bell ends up in the reggies. It is classic Sheens

If Humble is not going to be half then Miller does
Tithe moves last night were woeful
