Our mob v sharks

So worst case scenario and Tim Grant gets ruled out by the neurologist. Who do we start in the front row? Ava or Sue?

I'd probably go with Sue and have either Edwards or Griffin at 13…Ava seems good coming off bench

Can someone get a concussion test for JT ,before the next team is picked Surely there's a reason for his strange selections LoL

Imo If Farah wasn't 100% then he shouldn't have played and stuffed up the interchange bench

Taylors selection policy of 2 hookers was shown up yesterday with the loss of Grant. If he doesn't rethink this plan then it will be another long season for us.

We are staring at a P.5 W.2 L.3 start. Methinks this is our groundhog day start to every season.

I don't think 2 hookers is necessary a bad thing in the NRL. The Cowboys are using it very well at the moment.

The problem was JT by moving Dene to hooker to start the game played effectively with 3 hookers with 2 starting on the bench, that is a massive problem for bench rotation (was pointed out by many people before the game as well). JT said afterwards he thought it went well, for mine playing Cherrington for 8-9 minutes at the end is not a good bench rotation policy ( I would wish JT admitted he got it wrong).

If JT thought Robbie wasn't fit enough to start he either needed to move Cherrington to starting hooker or replace him from the bench.

I personally think the back rowers in the state cup (all three on the weekend) are playing better than Dene currently and he would not be in my 17 (his service from hooker is not good enough) plus Chris Lawrence is back as well.

That would be my side. Sue might even have a stint at prop during the rotation if needed by injuries. Lovett if not suspended would go close to Chee-Kam position (Lovett will be an ok player he is just not an 80 minute edge back rower).

My 17

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Simona
4\. Naiqama
5\. Addo Carr
6\. Moses
7\. Brooks

That imo is our strongest 17 barring maybe Curtis Sironen comes back…

Just looking at these teams without Buchanan and Lovett and I honestly think we aren't that bad on paper. At least there is upside.

We desperately need one solid big man and one more cog in the backline. What I would give for someone like Tohu Harris or Jorge Taufua.
Adam Reynolds would also look good in our colours…..drooling..... ok back to reality.

Quite the opposite mate, Jt management skills at his very best. The coaches tactics yesterday reminded me of our great mate Brian smith. He would have coached Taylor at a point I think.

i see what you mean, apologies

I agree with the Rankin thoughts. He hasn't done much wrong but he also hasn't provided much either.
I'd go Addo Carr as he'd love to be playing his old club. He's taller harder to tackle and faster.

I think Hunt deserves an opportunity to show his worth also, but he'll need time in reggies first.

Give Carr a couple of games and if he has issues with defense, give Hunt a shot. Then Taylor can decide on his number one option out of all three.

I think this is a far more balanced line-up i dont think Rankin is a winger he worrys me carrying the ball out of defence and positional play is suspect there. We also lacked imapct off the bench Buchanan is useless might aswell give Chee-Kam or Edwards a go.
