No offence Jay, but the difference between skill level and influence over a side between Aflie and Beds is massive.

It all starts from the dummy half, besides the half a hooker probably has most influence in a game.
Hes not comparing the two, just saying its not impossible to come back and have a bearing
QLDers :unamused:

Of course it is not impossible…however it is highly improbable that Buderus will make the difference. I also agree that the hooker has a massive influence over the game. He is the one that gets the forwards going the right way and gives the backs the room to shine. For this reason I have no doubt that Smith is the greatest hooker I have ever seen and will be the best of all time by the time he retires. I just do not think Buderus is the man to do it.

We all know how the Queensland pigs play...they are extremely enthusiastic, get multiple bodies in each and every tackle and move up quick. This could be exposed as a weakness with the right dummy half. Gidley exposed them a couple of times last year, Luke exposed them in the test match. Robbie is the man to do the same. As a Queenslander, I am more worried about Farah's game than any other hooker available for NSW.

Watto the big thing is at the tigers he has 2 roles to play which puts too nuch pressure on him and his decision making suffers. Yesterday he showed great respect to Pearce and he played the role he did when Prince was here. Yesterday showed that Sheens needs to simplify Robbie and stop expecting our hooker to also play halfback while making 40 tackles. Its too much.

Is it sheens that expects him to double as a halfback??? Not so sure I think at club level Robbie tries too hard to be the playmaker, hopefully he continues that same style he played on Sunday thru to club level congrats to the bloke he had a great game!!! Also if the referees are fair dinkum and start to control the ruck and the ten metres he will only get better…

Ive been saying that for a season or two .pick a halfback and let him play halfback , and we get the best Robbie back .
