get off your qld high horse happy…we aren't to many wins away from you guys overall.

its a era that will end and then it will be our turn...thats the way it normally turns out

T4E its more like a giraffe than a high horse mate

All I'm saying is it won't end this year We have too much to play for and too much experience and ability in our spine ,forwards and centres

You'll get closer in 2013 and probably win it in 2014

GIRAFFE HAHA

Your right i know… thats why storm are so good...when do those guys ever get injured and miss games..

If i see creagh,bailey,cooper,jennings,king, buderus,in our team i think i will break something.lol

You know what happy you guys basically have your team selected where we still fart assing around....every year the same.

Step up Robbie your time could be around the corner..IMO Buderus was a great player but plaese at his age in SOO if this happens the game has gone backwards heaps!

If Farah plays with Pearce and Carney and we pick some speed around them we'll bolt in.
Everybody knows we've been robbed four out of the last 6 years and QLD were lucky to win the other 2.

Queenslanders really that petty that u need comments that "nsw" say to fire you up on the biggest stage?

On topic - I fear farah will play superbly up to origin get overlooked and go back into his shell

Anything to get that extra 1% which wins these games izotope

Just got this feeling Farah is a serious chance I think Ennis has burnt his bridges and Buderus is past it

The bigger challenge may come from De Gois

Degois…..really???

im not seeing that....its either Boods or Robbie.

I'd agree with Happy.

He's probably the most in form NSW hooker at the moment, and is unlucky to not be even remotely considered. Surprised that muppet Rothfield has been pushing his barrow.

Not too sure why people are saying Robbie is new and improved. By my mind, he has been playing good solid footy for years.
His scoots have become ineffective by the NRL's design more than his own form. He is constantly at the top of our tackle counts and provides great dummy half service. He has also shown great toughness by playing injured for yonks now.
This year alone he has played with having his nose smashed twice and then backed up on Sunday after being knocked senseless the week before.

I am glad others are starting to see his form isnt that bad….

I'm mot a QLD fan but didn't we say that about Langer when they got him back for SOO. Buds may have the same affect on NSW.

No offence Jay, but the difference between skill level and influence over a side between Aflie and Beds is massive.

It all starts from the dummy half, besides the half a hooker probably has most influence in a game.
Hes not comparing the two, just saying its not impossible to come back and have a bearing
QLDers :unamused:

Errrrr, well De Gois plays for the sharks…...pretty easy to see why Rothfield is talking him up.

IMO there is no chance De Gois getting the spot......if it's not Buderus it has to be Robbie after his c/c performance.

Sorry Simon, typo on my part, I meant I was surprised that Rothfield wasn't pushing his barrow.

De Gois has been in better form than Buderus this season, not to mention Ennis.

Anyway, Buderus offers zilch in attack. He remains a very good defender but can't play 80 minutes and will not create or kick. That isn't going to beat QLD, especially when NSW don't have real quality halves who can win matches on their own.

Geez i was impressed with Robbie in the C/C match. He worked his butt off. I thought his kicking game was excellent, his distribution good and I can't recall him missing a tackle.
It did take it out of him though. He kept doing his job but faded a bit in attack in the 2nd with Country having so much ball and Farah doing so much defence.

Was it just that he was so desperate to impress Stuart?
Was it a good combination with the halfback?

Some of these questions wil be answered when he lines up for the Tigers over the next couple of weeks, but for mine another strong peformance for the Tigers and he has to be picked for NSW.

Personally no matter who is picked in the 9 I think we need another hooker on the bench for NSW (utility for dummy half atleast). I'd pick Buderus and Farah.

I'm starting to think this is the way the Tigers should be heading too. Don't know if Politini is up to it this year, I think Humble showed he can play dummy half, but he's holding the 7 at the moment. Then theres Miller and Moltzen who could probably fill in at dummy half. Maybe something to look at next year, because Robbie can't keep that workrate up for 80 mins in a much more defence orientated game atm.
I like the idea of
1\. Tedesco, 6\. Marshall, 7\. Miller, 9\. Farah, 13\. Anasta, 14\. Humble (can cover backline, but also used at dummy half to rest Farah).

With Gidley returning to club football this weekend he will be in the Origin squad if fit

Didn't realise Gidley would be back in time. In this case Robbie could be overlooked with Gidley having more versatiltiy from the bench. The best we have looked in recent years is when Gidley comes on for Ennis. They'll probably go Buderus and Gidley on the bench then. All Farah can do is turn in some top notch performaces for the Tigers and hope.

Gidley, another myth who somehow manages to get selected in every rep team despite being utter garbage.

Mate I don't mind Gidley off the bench he seems to get you going forward late in a half or at the end of a game from dummy half

Whether the change in the marker rules (well less policing) will change that is another matter though
