Our Next Two Months

We are on 8 points as it stands. How many points do you guys realistically see us snagging from these games? If our form doesn't dip and we don't have any big injuries then we may possibly have a very exciting next 2 months.

Edit: Fox is saying that Nicho is 14th man for the Blues, Cook the only hooker meaning Api will still be playing for us. This means during the Storm game they will be missing Grant / Munster / Welch and Sharks will probably be missing Nicho. With that I think
Raiders - Winnable
Titans - Winnable
Storm - Win
Cowboys - Win
Sharks - Winnable
Knights - Winnable
Dragons - Winnable
Souths - We probably lose, but they might get burnt out during the origin period again. A big injury and then I think its winnable.

I would honestly say on current form, 4 is a pass. But honestly could see us getting 6 or 7.

Think we need 20 points from 15 rounds to make the eight, that's 8 wins in 13 games. A big ask and frustrating, considering the rubbish that was dealt up in the early rounds. Any significant injuries and we can forget about it.
I'd be happy taking last night's squad ( minus Joffa ) into next year with a real solid preseason, have the good up and comers in the squad and with hopefully a better start to the season the eight becomes a realistic goal. Would love to see Brooks and Wakeham swap around a bit, they're combining well enough to do this and it gets the defence guessing.
Whoever signed Api should be given the keys to Leichardt , Lidcombe, Pratten Park, Commbank, Cambelltown, in fact all our home grounds, he's the best player we've had in years.
 
Canberra will be the toughest out of the lot

Wighton and Papali purposely not playing origin to focus on the raiders and they’re playing red hot

Just glad it’s at Campbelltown

5 is probably a pass given our form, anything more is a bonus

Since u brought up api best player ever signed , how about we rate our 4 gun signings , as I remember there was a few who screamed blue murder about signing KLEMMER and Bateman
SO out of 10 rate them

You'd want to be winning at least 50% of those games all your home bar souths and jag 2 or 3 away wins. I'd say between 4 and 6 of those we are capable of.

Can’t rate them until the end of the year.
They’ve gone good so far.
 
I reckon we’ll need 30 points to make the 8.
So 22 more points - 2 byes = 9 more wins.
Our last 6 weeks are all tough games against sides who regularly beat us.
We need to win most of our games over the next 2 months to set up a chance to sneak in. Big ask.

That is as of now , if the form over the last month continues then I'd have to bump them all up.
Api and Bateman do the stuff that gets noticed but Klemmer and Papa do the little things that don't win man of the match awards but are vitally important. They're leading and the other 13 are now starting to follow.
We have some good young players in this group, the future looks positive.
 
Remember when we had a 'soft start' to the season and were going to have at least 4 wins to start the season? Yet we look around from our last placed position now feeling confident about how many we can win? Seems to be a whole club mentality, from fans to the CEO, that winning a game means we're good.

I loved the win yesterday, still in disbelief, and I feel optimistic, but realistically going on our results this year, we're every chance of not winning many more this year. Let's win the next one and see how we go. I don't think many people pencilled in Penrith for a W and knights and Titans at home were certain wins. Just little point doing these 'how many can we win' threads and recent history shows that we never live up to our expectations.

Lots of optimistic scenarios on here, but I prefer to start with our next game v Raiders. Can we put together another dominant display without falling back into old habits.
It will be a tough test , especially after their embarrassing defeat today.
Let’s win that and then worry about the game after, not talking about 6/7 out of the next 10 or whatever.
You know the old footy saying, don’t get ahead of yourself.
