I dont blame him for leaving Edwards out, he needed match fitness, but he must come in next week.

2 hookers on the bench? Seriously thats sackable and ive been a Taylor supporter.

Buchanan is getting into the Trent Runcimen and Chris Patterson class.

Rankin on the wing? He's a good player not a winger. Its not fair on him. Addo Carr scores off that Brooks kick in the first half.

Lawrence and Edwards come in with Lovett and Buchanan out.

Can we have Farah, Cherro and Halatau?

Three of those have never played first grade you realise… Griffin and MCK endurance must be minimal in NRL... And JAC s D is questionable.... I don't think it's time for mass sackings.
Maybe we just aren't as good as we thought.... Granted I didn't see today's game but I like the sound of the defence being good... That in itself is another process that's been occurring since the beginning of last year

Give them some more time, still really early…we might lose the next two but things do look better than last year

Chee Kam and Edwards both have played first grade. Griffin has played more games of senior rugby league than most of our other players. JAC's D is questionable how? Griffin is known primary for his endurance. Lovett and Buchanan probably wouldn't have played any first grade either if they were at other clubs. Edwards has played more first grade than all four of the players I named.

Its not a matter of mass changes, its more a matter of obvious changes. Lawrence comes straight back in. Edwards is now match fit and played well on saturday. That means the average Lovett goes. Buchanan had his chance today (u didn't see the game ) with Grant being injured and was embarrassing. He is replaced by anyone, MCK, Felise, Graham, desnt matter who, they will all be better.

Rankin replaced by a genuine winger.

Thats 4 changes, but in reality it's only 2 when u consider Lawrence and Edwards were considered top 17 at seasons beginning.

We lacked some ideas at times in attack and handed over cheap possession at times.....the Eels defence is brilliant .
Thought the effort and commitment was there just didn't execute our plays well.

Didn't understand JT's tactic in leaving Cherrington unused till the 70th minute and loosing Grant early in the 1st half for failing a concussion test hurt us and we could of done having an extra forward instead of having Cherrington sitting on the sidelines watching the game.

I must admit Farah makes our attack look so Pedestrian at times and is way to slow with his service...he seems undecided at times with the ball like not sure if he has to pass it or run it , we know we can rely on his defence but just seemed very Pedestrian for my liking Today.

I thought that game was a total embarrassment .
In fact it was our worst effort with the ball since last years Cowboys game ,
Yeah Parra defended well , so did we , but we didn't give them a lot to defend did we .

Agree, with the 3 hookers, absolute ludicrous IMO .
Taylor needs a kick up the arse for that doozy .

That was the most frustrating game i've sat through since the Cowboys game last yr. While i was pretty annoyed after the game initially, i've mellowed a bit tonight and have decided to take the positives out of it. Our defence was great, we really hung in there. It wasn't like the Cowboys last yr where they threw absolutely nothing at us, Parra, though scrappy as well really challenged our line. As someone who was really worried about defence leading into this game, had someone told me we'd only concede 8 points i'd have been rapt. But then there's the fact we also lost the game. If we build on that defensive performance, we'll do a lot of damage this yr, because our attack won't be like that every week. We won't be winning any comps this yr, but we can def challenge for the 8\. This is one of those rare occasions i'm feeling pretty good after a loss.
