I've got high expectations for next year. Top 8 or we need to make some big changes.
Pressures on Brooks, Lolohea, Liddle, Nofoaluma and our forward pack. Our forward pack is what I have the most confidence in. We'll just have to wait and see but, I'm not going to be happy if we miss the 8.
Tacky - change and instability has been our problem mate. Would be great if we could all just take a chill pill for one season at least and let the team develop. It's pretty much a brand new 17 players and I think pascoe/Cleary will be saving cap for next year.
Improvement, consistency and competitiveness should be our benchmark this year. Not where we finish.
For a club that hasnt seen finals footy for god knows how long now…I dont think the fans would cop something like "Improvement, consistency and competitiveness " unless it included finals footy finish
I don't really care what people will cop. Some people need to manage their emotions better and know what it takes to get to the top otherwise they hurt us all. In the last few years, we've lost 2 captains, a coach, had a management restructure, dealt with backloaded contracts and lost the majority of our spine.
You can't immediately turn that around and people setting targets based on their emotions and the past is just so short sighted.
Maybe fans just want to keep us in a downward spiral?
