CEO isn't in-charge of the team's performance. From the sound of things, Wests Tigers as a business is thriving (because we fans keep putting money into it). All Pascoe can do is hire the right people and everyone here agreed that Hartigan/Madge were the best people for the job, so Pascoe has done his work IMO.

Madge was the second best in Tiger's words at the time. Bennett would have gotten the job if could have left Brisbane earlier. You're saying that if we'd hired someone else instead of Maguire we'd be in a worse position?

As long as the club is making money Pascoe won't lose his job. I hope they know who the best assistant coaches are out there and go after them to at least support Maguire and take over from him when the inevitable happens.

who knows? Bennett would've been better but as you said, he couldn't leave Broncos at the time. We got the second best and we didn't let Cleary go until we got him. Maybe we could've held on to Cleary for another year?

IMO, assistant coaches should get the nod if you're building from success (eg John Morris taking over Flanagan)- not if you're sacking a failure.

I think a lot of people had their doubts about Madge. The club needed a name coach. They got one, unfortunately he is not a very good coach.

I really don't like Pascoe. Everything about him annoys me and always has.

But, he chose a highly regarded coach and has given him the chance to develop his own squad.

Sure, Pasoce let Cleary make some incredibly poor recruitment decisions but we are largely past those now.

Our football performance is not Pascoe's fault.

Mouthed off when Cleary left claiming we’d get compensation only to get the finger from Penrith ..
