I don't care what anyone says, I've been watching football for long enough and I have confidence in my own judgement, we will go nowhere with these 2 as our props.
 
I disagree. They concentrate on defending well in the middle and that is how they are being coached to play I think
 
Dragons won the game when they were off the field. Tigers lost the game by giving the vall away early in the tackle count and that had nothing to do with our forwards. Another stupid thread by people who dont understand footy
 
We lost the game in the first half when we dominated possession got 6 penalties in a row and came up squat. It was an error riddled horrible performance.
Just cant win the games we need to and I have no idea why.

I'm not just talking about the Dragons game, I'm saying that we will do zip as long as Packerlino are our starting props.

Our problem is having them as a front row pair, they're rubbish!!

All Matulino is worried about is finding his knees and elbows, watch how easily he's brought down sometimes when it looks like he could charge through and maybe get an offload away, all they do is tap a leg and he goes down because he was already in the motion of finding the ground before they even touched him.
If he'd actually run hard with intent to bust the line and offload he'd be a handful, look at the size of him.

Don't give me this rubbish that he's trained to play that way either, what coach wouldn't want a dominating prop that busts defenses apart and pops offloads?

Why would you coach a unit like Matulino to drop onto his front at the slightest contact just to get quick ptbs?

He doesn't use his size and skill at all

We were rubbish yesterday right across the park. Nothing to cheer about in attack and no sting in defence. We were lucky the Dragons just did enough to win and arent playing like they were at the beginning of the season.
 
Well I’ve played and watched heaps of footy as well and I think they are a good set of bookends. They are a huge part of our defensive improvements. Keep em I say
 
We had 571 scored against us last year. I wonder if we will get that much this season? The improvements in defence start from the middle.

Bang on, our 6,7 and 9 had no idea how to get us points with all the possession in the first 20 minutes, no wonder we rank 16 in attack in the NRL, really embarrassing

I didn't see it but heard it on ABC radio. Deer in the headlights. Too much on the line and the Leichhardt spectacle just too big. It sounded like Dragons were doing what they could to help us along.
In the first half, dropped ball mid attack and on the try line. In the second half, playing without patience and trying too hard for a quick fix.
I wouldn't be blaming the props.

Brooks - Dead set lost for ideas
 
Did you watch Cleary yesterday? He was about as devoid of ideas as Brooks.
If Brooks had a couple of backrowers who could hold on to the ball, we had at least 2 tries in the first 20 minutes. Not exactly his fault.
I agree with the assessment of Marshall and Farah however.
(But Farah has been a vast improvement since his arrival than the other blokes we have had playing 9).
