Parish push for coach

I have been in attendance when Parish has Coached a side (the Entrance Tigers). And I actually heard the way he spoke to the players and I was 20m from the dressing rooms. If we hire him, were screwed. That ranting and raving thing has a use by date of about 3 days.

So what happened to your claim in another thread that Parish had already been interviewed and was unsuccessful? If that was true, surely you don't need to worry about the consequences of him being appointed?

First off that wasn't my rumor someone else posted that and the guys who missed it I just filled them in.

Why u wanna get at me for? You have previously inboxed me asking for info. Why don't u go on twitter or other forums if it's that accessible? So chill dave aight. Why don't u call folksie since u and him used to swap info back in the day.
 
LOL…why dont all you scoops just boot off and this place would be a lot less confusing, leave it for the real supporters, (should get some responses eh?) .....youre only here because you get a job at the club, or suddenly know someone in the know....you find the forum and you get attention, you post innacurate BS for the most part, tho you at first SG was good, gave us good info without the attention seeking and ego.....but it catches up to you all eventually - power- ....youre not supporters, which is what this place is for.....youre shallow, insecure, low self esteem attention seekers

Lol ink u r the biggest troll on here. I'll take your rant with a grain of salt mate…. Thanks for your insight anyway. I have 600ish posts in nearly a year and a half. About 1.5 post ave a day i don't live on here like some with over 9000 posts. "just sayin"

I did ask you what the Rumour was, it's hard not to get interested. You sold it well.

And I did know Steve folkes for a few months back in 2010\. I did some work for him but then when I finished so did our association. We were never 'mates'. A few times I asked him about withdrawals/late inclusions about the team and he told me. I posted them on here and was right every occasion. He then referred me to todd payten who i also worked with but that was in the offseason of that year, i never spoke to him about footy. I have zero connections to the club now and don't pretend to.

Well correct me I'm wrong but as I understand it the sequence of events so far is:

Parish was interviewed for the coaching position
Soon afterwards Parish accepts a job at Parra as an assistant

So I guess there are two interpretations:

1 - He's not overly confident about getting the job at WT
2 - He's a realist who guesses he should take the job on offer and worry about getting out of it (you think he has a get out release) if the WT gig happens

I think he took the parra job first, had a clause to get out if he scored a bigger job…..dunno

Im happy to wait until the clubs ready to tell us, I dont NEED to know now- or yesterday - its OK not to know, or be wrong.....lots here cant accept that, (not you yoss)
 
The more I think about it, the more I get excited about a Walters/Langer combination (if it is being considered).

Young coaches, new ideas, modern day legends who won everything…......exactly what the club needs.

If not and we have to keep it within the old boys club - JT.

Sorry, but he has runs on the board over Parish.
 
I heard Walters interviewd on radio today, didnt catch it all but basically said hes here for GF THEN will tend to WTs stuff….didnt beat around the bush, was direct and forthright, it sounded OK

I know it doesnt auto equate to anything, but wasnt Madge Maguire in the same position Walters holds now?

Hes outta left field and could be good imo

Well I for one always judge the true mettle of someone by the strength of their punctuation. As my mother used to say mind your manners and spoonerisms. 😱pen_mouth:

Maybe you should work on your spelling before you have a crack at somebody about their punctuation champion.
