What was it to do with Alan Jones any way? Jones never says anything good about the Tigers ever, he just wanted to see one of his yes men get a job coaching. Combine this with the Teles dislike of the Tigers & its all a load of crap.
 
We should all know by now that the DT always creates the scandalous version of the what the SMH writes. Fact is, according to the SMH. Parish has been out of the running for a while already. Some posters on here have alluded to that as well a couple of weeks ago. Seems only Walters and Potter got to an advanced stage and not surprisingly Potter looks to have gotten the gig. I'm certainly not dissapointed in the outcome.

What a load of Hogwash this article is…Firstly Parish would not withdraw from his FIRST NRL Coach application...That would not look good on his resume for the future....he simply hasn't earnt the right to act so arrogantly.
 
In other news, I'd like to declare I have withdrawn my application for the IC CEO position as of today. Its taken too long and the board is a rabble etc.
 
Did the DT consult with Parish before issuing the so called news article? If DT did consult with Parish then he is obviously not telling the truth and has taken his bat and walked away. Not a good look for someone who had ambitions on becoming a WT coach. I certainly believe that the right decision has been made.

im led to believe there were quite a number on the board pushing for him, but he could see how bad the problems were at the club and walked away.

I said 3 weeks ago he was unsuccessful, he never had the job, he didn't interview well, infact the only reason he got an interview was on the back of blocker and a couple others pushing his cart. He didn't walk away, he never had a shot

He knew over 2 weeks ago he didn't have the job, potter found out Sunday night.
