Parra After Joe O

Jofa still has two years left on his contract with us.
How are these slimes bags allowed to try and get him over to
them?
Am i missing something here?

I said this earlier and I could be wrong but this is how I read a recent article on how this works. You can actually talk to players at any time but not offer a formal contract until the last year of their contract. I assume they've targetted him and then they are going to talk to the club.

Based on performances this year the story adds up. We need to trade up in other areas when clubs want players. I’d say there is another target on Tigers radar to make this move. Releasing Joe O doesn’t improve the team unless funds used to acquire another player.
Yeah... Another player better

This is strange.

Wouldn't don it unless there's something better for us lined up, which is unlikely.

i know it is Newscorp and we should believe salaries but nrl360 Michael caryannis seems to think Joffa is on 450k this year and 600k a year for 2024 and 2025.

If true on that type of salary for a bench forward I would let joffa go to Parramatta
There used to be a chart showing players salaries but haven’t seen that for a while. I’m not sure that the $600 is correct and ask if King Robbie or someone can pull up a previous chart to check .

If he wants more game time then I think he will consider it. He doesn’t seem to be one of Sheens favourites. Damn shame really cause I like him.
I’ve always said that imo his ability these days is limited, and is pretty one dimensional. Not saying he hasn’t been there when times were very low but imo just not dynamic enough to rate more game time.
But I think it’s obvious that he’s dropped his bundle a bit and is probably vulnerable to someone whispering in his ear. Don’t think he’d get more money but probably more minutes.
That’s what he’ll have to weigh up.

I would just like to thank Joffa for his services. Had a tremendous last season.
Was always upbeat in any game he played, worked till the end no matter what.
He was a good role model for the younger guys, always pushed his team mates.
I've always enjoyed watching him play, was a fan favourite.

You will be forever part of the WT family,

All the best.

On a positive, it is good for our cap. We paid overs as he was a rep player when we signed him.

This is a great opportunity for Aitasi James to finally be promoted.

Not a massive fan of this move.
We get a few injuries and we are stuffed. Only worth it if we are getting Saunders in the swap, I like the idea of buying up as many of the young talented half backs and letting them fight it out!
Yes, get SJ or Ben hunt for a few years then let one of the young guys to fill the spot. Remember No Doueihi next season.
Sick of giving to those slimy sea slugs, and nothing in return. Give ‘em nothing…
Unless we get someone we want or cowgirls only.
