So our game vs Parra is on the Monday? No double header? The NRL are morons when it comes to promoting their product, enticing crowds and providing value for money. Ameteurs at best.

Easter Monday game.
Should be atleast 40k crowd.

If they had scheduled another game at ANZ with it you could probably expect a crowd of 60000 or so. An opportunity lost I reckon.

So true. We saw in the Big Bash League, the Administrators were super particular about fixtures and took all sorts of things into consideration. We saw 82k at the MCG because the game had been so hyped since before the season started. 50k tickets sold out before Christmas to Adelaide Oval on New Years Eve, it was more than just a cricket game. There were after-match fireworks, entertainment, it was a big party (and most importantly a fun family event).

NRL still has a long way to go. You can't just expect fans to show up, even if a team is going well. You have to put a lot of thought into fixtures.
