Parra

Look absolutley shocking at the moment and am i the only one who is scared by this as we are playing them on Friday?

im always worried playing against parra but i think we are getting them at a good time. they always take time to get started in playing as a team and gaining momentum.

what a joke

Parra threw a 9m forward pass to score the try that put them back into the game.

Had that been CORRECTLY called back, parra wouldn't have scored a few minutes after either.

it's just the refs having Hayne-gasims; even if he does wrong, he can still do no wrong
what a joke

parra come back to beat manly
the way we are playing against the roosters right now doesnt hold well for next friday night. did we speak too soon?

I didn't see this game but their defence worries me. Based on their game in Round 1 their defence looks good.

The Eels will trouble the Tigers. At this early stage the Tigers defence is too shaky and the Eels will probably get us with their second phase play.

Parras attacking backs will hurt ours unless we can get a better defensive structure in place in 5 days…..could be a flogging.

Hayne showed some flashes of brilliance today as well. We'll have to try and shut him down on Friday. Set up a brilliant try for Tahu, and laid on the match winner with a well disguised cut out pass.

Parra were utter garbage for 60 minutes. The only got back into the game through MoiMoi scoring a try from a great barge and Hayne running 105m. Aside from that they showed no spark in attack and were totally under the pump from Manly. Mortimer continued his poor form and kept kicking out on the full - they really suffer in the halves!

We can beat them

Manly played the same against Parra as they did against us. Played well, racked up a huge lead (that should've been enough to win), then ill-discipline let the other team back into the game, with enough momentum to bring it home.

Manly should be 2-0 with a good f/a, but stupid penalties and going to sleep has them 0-2\. For a team that in my opinion will be fringe top 8, that's 4 crucial points they've thrown away.
