Parramatta Team...

Is that ‘the’ Tony Williams on the bench? He kills us every time!

Though in saying that I’m much more comfortable with our forward pack controlling him this year.

We should get on top of this team in the forwards which will nullify their halves but they can still be dangerous and will be hungry to get their season off and running. We need to keep digging in in defence and some points could start to flow our way in this one.

They're copping lots of media flack, they will be up for this. They improved heaps against Cronulla and didn't go down by all that much. We can't slacken off thinking they will be easybeats. Every game will be an arm wrestle for us unless we get some attack happening.

Expect them to come out fired up but our pack should be able to contain them. Send plenty of traffic at turnstile Moses.

Wait on weren't this team tipped by many 'experts' to be a Top 4 side this year…

I'm sure Ivan will be reminding our boys this...not liking the we should account for them..they are an ordinary team business...

We should not take them lightly, our team of all teams should know that after our start to the year.

I'm sure we won't… After the attitude and commitment we've seen from the in the past 3 weeks is anything to go by.
Doesn't mean it won't be a tough game and we all know we have plenty of problems

I certainly hope you're right. Hopefully Ivan will get them in the right space and they treat the Eels with the same respect as Easts and Melbourne.

My biggest concern is how we are going to cope with a less structured side

We have played arguably the 3 most structured sides in the NRL attackwise

Moses and Norman will play what they see first and foremost

Melbourne, Easts and Brisbane are not without dynamic players though and we kept a lid on them.

they'll need to lose a few more games by big scores to convince me that they have an ordinary team. on paper they look pretty strong to me.

Either way it is another test for us going forward , hoping we walk away with a high distinction and the two points

I think 3/4 would of been well above most of our wildest dreams pre season

Easts weren't a structured side in round 1\. So I don't see that being a problem for our boys. The game will be won through the middle with our attack targeting the edges, the Eels having a weak backline should let us get a sniff.

Easts just tried to take us on up the middle as their spine didn't have one combination from 2017

My concern here is some of these Parra players will be out to show Brad Arthur that they can run the game better without Hayne overcalling them.

If Arthur needs to shown that Hayne is as useless as tits on a bull 22 weeks of the year he shouldn't be an NRL coach

hopefully not a fibro wall with tiger pattern wall paper

This game is a trap for young players.

Many Tigers teams over the years have taken teams lightly at their peril. Make no mistake, this team could be very dangerous. They need to be treated just the same as a previous grand finalist.

Unfortunately, Taylor is still out. He was sadly missed last week and will be again. With approx. forty tackles per game and no one else in our team slows the ruck down like he does. Without him is a big handicap.

Hopefully, we can make it 3 from 4.

I think we did OK without him Russ. Still managed to hold out Brisbane.

Parra will probably look to second phase play without the forwards to do the job up the middle. Ironic that some of our pack were Parra juniors.
