Pascoe to review Farah comments...

The biggest concern for me here is Pascoe organised an overseas holiday for himself in middle of a season. September to February isn't really league season for Tigers but our club signs off on the ceos holiday in July. Seriously!

First thing came to my mind was:

Why is Justin Pascoe on holiday at this time of the year? (Before anyone says he has a right - his holiday period should be in any time after this season ends and before next season starts as he took the job); secondly

Why did Jason Taylor make this power move to put Robbie Farah in reserve grade when Justin Pascoe went on holiday?

To me it looks like JT is being more divisive at the club this time around

Ps I think both should go at seasons end if I was able to enforce the decision.

Was Pascoe overseas when the announcement was made? Even if he was, he hasn't been out of the loop while away as he's communicated with the supporters a couple of times through press releases. He's known what's happening regardless.

I don't know if he was on holiday when the decision was made but I do know that it is reported that "Pascoe returns to Concord on Monday after an overseas holiday that was planned four months ago."

And he's been doing his job while away.

Pascoe on holidays? Perhaps he knew quite well about the impending media storm and had complete confidence in how it would be handled. He went on a holiday to recharge the batteries for the fun that lay ahead.

Perhaps Pascoe was confident because he knew that as soon as the Farah was redirected into reserve grade he would say something to the media, but there is a plan in place so no biggie.

JT said clearly that Farah was moved from the 1st grade team to the reserve grade team for team cohesion. He did not say it was about about RF's individual performance. He said **team cohesion**.

Imagine this whole issue as a pimple. As with any pimple there is a lot going on beneath the surface. JT could see what was going on beneath the surface. By moving Farah from 1st grade to reserves, Taylor squeezed the pimple. The result was a big juicy ball of pus. The evidence was there on show for everyone to see. Farah came out in the media displaying his attitude to "cohesion" in spite of a media ban and even though he is "too smart" for that.

The way I see it! Anyone who continues to be bamboozled by RF the legend, that's your prerogative. Lots of people got stuck into Benji Marshall for the way he left Wests Tigers. From my perspective RF has done much more damage to this club and his own reputation than Benji ever did. The legend of RF will not read well into the future.

And the legend of coaching maestro Jason Taylor will sit slightly under Terry Lamb.

Not if we end up in the 8\. If somehow he does get us in the 8, he'll become our most successful coach we've had over the first 2 yrs in charge.

He's showing a lot of courage and leadership imo…. More than any coach in our history.
It's about time we had a strong coach and administration backing him

It's after the mid season transfer deadline and before the finals. Probably the only time Pascoe can step away bedore they have to start organising for next year.

I reckon what I said is pretty spot on. I reckon your response is a little looney tunes.

Oh really? Please enlighten me Steve. Please tell me what I said that is so looney. Tell me why JT should talk crap about Farah and Farah should stay silent. Is that so that way Farah looks like the decent bloke and JT doesn't instead of white the opposite which we have now? As it is, and you know it, Farah has completely lost all credibility whereas JT looks like a professional. Whether he's a good coach or not is irrelevant. Here we have a spoilt brat spitting chips at his coach and club. What a legend.

I think you should re-read what I posted. Your response makes no sense if you read what I posted. Even this post here makes no sense.

I said Farah should shut his mouth. That is how a professional should act. JT should also be professional and pick the best available team.

I've re-read your post. It's very clear what you've said. My posts are accurate in their response. You have no idea

Good luck to you. Sorry if i ruined your brekky. Cheers

All good mate seen plenty worse when I wake up in the past

Something funny from the other night. I was at the game, listening to the ABC. Taylor came on the big screen and a chorus of boos rang out. After Taylor, it went straight to a shot of McGregor. Andrew Moore says "Paul McGregor just came up on the big screen and he was greeted with thunderous boos. Idk what that is about". Lol

I disagree with a few of your points.

Firstly i can't understand how people can't see through the lies and the contradictions from Jason Taylor and Pascoe.
When crap hit the fan last year and Jason Taylor wanted him in Reserves and held a meeting with Ayoub and Farah…..Rod Reddy said that he would be in Reserves if he stays correct ? Hence why Reddy is not here , he did the dirty work for JT in the meeting , proofs in the pudding that's what was said as that's what happened to Farah last Weekend ( playing Reserves ).

Pascoe is appointed within that week as CEO , calls for urgent meetings to resolve this issue .
Then we get this Pavlava that Farah will remain at the Club and will train the Pre Season and like all other players who are in our Top 25 Squad will get the opportunity to stake there claim for a 1st Grade spot come Round 1 .
Jason Taylor comes out January sometime and sate...." Farah has done everything that was asked and will be our hooker come Round 1 " . Massive back flip.

Pascoe also comes out and state that Jason Taylor has the full support of the board and it's his call on the side he wants.

Now in my opinion :

# Farah hasn't derailed nothing we were 3/3 the last few games he played , far from derailment.

# People that understand footy know that Edwards , Lovett , Halatau just to name a few in the Top 17 in front of Farah is making a point loud and clear of your intentions .

# Pascoe is full of it he played peace keeper at the time cause he only wanted to solve the immediate problem and not the long term problem in this cause i know the backlash the Club got over this at the time and the number of Season Ticket holders threatening not to renew there tickets for 2016 , there Emails and phone calls of complaints was massive.

# So Jason Taylor had to go back on something he didn't believe in and please Pascoe to calm the waters . Where Jason should of just played Farah in Reserve Grade from the start of this Season if that's what he truly believed was in the best interest of our team moving forward .
We were led to believe Jason Taylor had control of his side and that's what he wanted originally but Pascoe contradicts it by Farah playing 1st Grade this year.

# He knew the talent Cherrington had but chose Farah in Round 5 vs the Eels despite deep down not wanting him in 1st Grade and as a result we have lost a player to the Panthers cause he wasn't big enough to say to Pascoe that he wants to go through with Farah being Reserves.

# Don't feed the fans the BS that his picking the best 17 he thinks will beat the Dragons and go into the game without a specialist Hooker and this Cohesive crap blow it out your behind JT you haven't even fixed up our defence from your Motto that we were perceived by other Clubs as weak in this area and your mission was to fix this . Oh and that other stuff we have to earn the right to attack  .
The bloke is comical what else can you expect from a Budgeted Coach...OOPS did i say Coach :brick: person.

:blah :blah :blah :blah

That's an intelligent reply to FT post. :unamused: Are you Cols twin?

Interesting…I was at the game and heard no boos for JT at all. And it wasn't like it was loud there (about 10k people, despite the advertised 15k). Dragons fans were furious from what I saw and heard after the game though.

I saw one muppet with a poorly made 'Sack the board and CEO' sign though, that he chose to show as our team warmed up. Didn't see anyone stand up in the 9th minute and didn't hear any Robbie chants. Guess those losers either don't have the guts to stand up for their 'beliefs' or don't really support our team.

Lol. Love is in short supply on this forum at the moment NT. So much angst…
Everyone going around in circles, tit for tat, saying the same thing again and again.
Well at the moment I'm happily packing my suitcase, for a 2 week trip to Arugam Bay on the East coast of Sri Lanka, to watch my boys surf to their hearts content, while my daughter and i soak up the suns rays
Hopefully when i return the forum would be a happier place to visit. See you guys. Try not to kill each other while I'm gone.
