100% correct. You can't state what Taylor said and then come out and play Halatau and Rankin at dummy half. It's just dumb.

I suggest pascoe does a review on jt while he's at it and not on holidays. Maybe he can pick up the phone and give a few ex team mates of taylor a call and ask them what their opinion of taylor is. I can suggest a few, billy moore, gary larson, Greg florimo, david fairliegh just to name a few. I'm sure they would be more than obliging to clear up any confusion about what kind of a person jt is. Robbies ex teammates, current teammates and club captain along with Thousands of fans showed the nrl in what regard he is held. Let that be part of the review pascoe. Farah hasn't breached any code of conduct - he was asked a question and answered it.
Maybe he should have just said 'We're taking it one game at a time, the boys really stood up out there today etc etc "
The more interesting review is the one they do on Taylor's coaching.

There is a specific clause in the standard playing contract that prohibits comments to the media that are not in the best interests of the club. It's a clear breach of contract.

Any other player wouldn't have been relegated to reserves on a BS best 17 agenda, we had a winger who is a half move into dummy half then a secondrower move to centre and a centre to wing to accommodate this stupid move.
That is not giving our team the best chance at winning, if JT is going to keep up this stupid campaign then he at least needs to pick a hooker.

So how come you never criticise Farah? It's as if you just say he should go to to sound diplomatic. You don't show any significant signs that make you feel he should go. Yet you will constantly rage over JT.

What Farah said was factual.

Taylor's reasons were pretty flimsy and he picked that apart.

Whether it was needed is another story.

However Farah obviously feels it is personal now and there is no way back so he made those comments.

So what if it was factual? No organisation will let you get away with openly criticising the boss to the world in such a way. The club has let Farah get away too much with these comments. His contract should have been torn up 6 weeks ago without paying him a cent.

It wasn't factual anyway, it was an opinion. Was it correct? Thats a matter for debate.

Thanks for clearing that up. So we've actually never had a player/coach situation or player/ceo thing happening.

Talk about a load of rubbish..now like most people I think Farah should be in the 17, but Taylor has never questioned Farahs work ethic or his ability. Right from the outset he has hammered the point its all about cohesion and changing the way the team plays. Now there might be all sorts of things going on behind the scenes and there might be dramas going on, but as far as what Taylor and the club has said to the media, he has never questioned Farahs work ethics.

I think the problem with JT's comments are that they aren't factual. If he came out and said well Robbie makes too many mistakes at critical times and here are some examples or he misses tackles or whatever as long as it was factual we could see what he was talking about.

JT has simply made up an excuse to justify what appears to be a personal decision or a decision related to money.

Still Robbie should just shut his mouth. I think he is right in his comments but he shouldn't be stating it openly.

I really think though that this club needs to have a good look at themselves for allowing this situation to develop. I think we've give too much power to JT and probably gave too much power to Robbie a while ago. It's now a mess.

I've read some "out there" posts of yours, but this one takes the cake. What sort of crap would any coach cop for telling the world a player was dropped due to specific mistakes? You live in some bizarro world and are trying desperately to denigrate JT at every opportunity. Furthermore,you say he should air his grievances publicly, but Farah shouldn't have. The reason we're at this point, is because JT wasn't afforded his wishes some months back and right up until now Farah hasn't been willing to do as requested by the coach. I'm amazed JT has held himself together for this long and believe me, I wasn't a fan of his for some time. This whole episode has given me a significant amount of respect for him with the way he's conducted himself throughout .

I think you should re-read what I posted. Your response makes no sense if you read what I posted. Even this post here makes no sense.

I said Farah should shut his mouth. That is how a professional should act. JT should also be professional and pick the best available team.

The biggest concern for me here is Pascoe organised an overseas holiday for himself in middle of a season. September to February isn't really league season for Tigers but our club signs off on the ceos holiday in July. Seriously!

First thing came to my mind was:

Why is Justin Pascoe on holiday at this time of the year? (Before anyone says he has a right - his holiday period should be in any time after this season ends and before next season starts as he took the job); secondly

Why did Jason Taylor make this power move to put Robbie Farah in reserve grade when Justin Pascoe went on holiday?

To me it looks like JT is being more divisive at the club this time around

Ps I think both should go at seasons end if I was able to enforce the decision.
