Pat Richard Returns

We can argue the toss til March next year (and I image we will) but the fact is he's here now and we should all hope he is as good as he has been his entire career until now. If he maintains his 2013 form he'll go great.

Pat is a left winger yes so will be interesting to see who goes to the right -I imagine Koroibete will swap sides as one of pats big strength is his fend which works better on one side

You going to watch him at Campbelltown next year or you too good to go. Don't pretend to follow this team :rant

Been waiting years for this! Better late than never. Pat is still big, strong and fast - exactly what we need in the backline. I'm sure there will be room for both he and Nofo (eventually) and Pat will also make a good mentor to the many young guys coming through. I just wish he was here already!

Lets make this simple…............................this year on the right wing we have had Utai and Reddy. Who would I prefer there...................over those two, Patty Richards anytime. He can kick, he is good under the high ball, he has an amazing fend, is he quick? I bet he is still quicker then Utai and Reddy.

Welcome home Patty, as long as you aren't costing us an arm and a leg, I will be cheering you on.

I will go and watch him at Leichhardt and the SFS as I said in the other thread Campbelltown is too far away and none of the people i go to the footy with go all the way out thier either mainly due to distance and because having been a couple of times I didn't much enjoy it. Clearly that offends you not sure why.

the club sells memberships on the basis of people only going to the 8 games at SFS and Leichhardt so obviously I'm not the only one. As for your crap about don't pretend to support this team -I watch them every week, I have a membership, I spend money on merchandise and have been following them for 30 years and regularly comment on here.

Do I like Campbelltown -not particularly but I'm still ok with games their as long as the crowds happen -I'd prefer them at ANZ

I know but it's a forum and I'm giving my opinion on what I'd want -opinions are like a holes everyone has one and the great thing about the forum is people have different ones otherwise it would be boring

Go to bed baboon as you have a late night tomorrow. Get your hot water bottles and your rug ready as it might get cold for you and watch the game on Foxtel or go to the local if it's acceptable by your friends boil the kettle and have a cup of tea. I will be at Campbelltown cheering on my team!! Pat Richards welcome home 7 years wiser

Whatever I didn't make it personal and I won't . Back on topic I think richards is a great purchase and will be a real star for us next year

I've posted mine and everyone else's positive opinion's in a book on my blog at:

Please help a Wests Tigers fan out by posting comment.

We have heaps of forwards. We'd have one of the best packs in the NRL if not for an amazing amount of injuries.

Are you for real, honestly? What planet are you living on if you think we have anything close to the best pack in the NRL?

Probably only two clubs would swap packs for ours at full strength Penrith or Parra . The rest would laugh at the thought

Oh well we got a good year out of Lote, and a good year out of Utai….maybe we'll get one from Patty too

sigh

I disagree. Galloway was in top form early in the season. Woods is Woods. Buchanan, Groat, Gavet are all extremely highly rated young props. Thompson, Pettybourne and Blair are an outstanding back row. Fotuiaka was the best prop in NYC 2012\. Bell and Fulton are good workers. Sue, Seumanufagai, Akaoula, Spence all make good depth players. I guess my statement is more based on the potential of the best possible forward pack. I think that having the best combination of them makes them one of the more effective forward packs in the NRL and I don't think they would get bested by any. But opinions are blah blah you know how it goes.

Thompson and Murdoch-Masila will be that soon enough. I've seen enough from the two of them to be excited about that.

In the case of BMM , how long do we wait Mac , he has the potential yes , but we rarely see it on a consistant basis He reminds me so much of Bronson Harrison ,they could be twins potential wise

Thompson could almost be put in the same boat

Heaps of potential and look the goods but aren't delivering , I think they suffer playing outside Benji to a degree ,if Benji would run more often they would be far more effective , but the coaching staff need to fix that
