Do you not realise that any of the WestsTigers top 30 that don’t make the game day 19 are playing in this comp.

It’s an informative post. Nothing about division.

Not only did he post it in the right category,it also serves as a reminder of one of our traditional clubs amalgamated with Balmain,and therein lies our history,something we cant remove....
I think it is a great innovation,many a good time was had at Lidcombe same as LO,they were traditional battle grounds and its great our feeder clubs will utilise the ground...

In having said that,I do not for one minute see it as a divide amongst out WTs family....

Come on Jedi,he simply put out an informative post for the people interested in those clubs that are feeder clubs to us.No harm done and it is an interesting feature as I have seen Lidcombe be used for athletics etc ..great to see it used as a Rugby League ground again...

Wests Tigers only have a presence in Macarthur because of the Magpies, and now the Magpies are making some retreating moves?

Depends on how you look at it jirskyr,Lidcombe Oval was the traditional home ground of the Magpies,been there a few times in the late 70s early 80s myself...The move to Campbelltown could be seen as a plus or minus and not being a Magpies supporter I wouldnt know what effect it had on the club,game and fans...but it was a great home ground packed full of original battles prior to super league and the Maggies move to Campbo...

Yes it does.

I will still support them and try and get out to a few games (have been to the last few "Back to Lidcombe" days), but this is another example of the lack of engagement with the south west.

Harve,how many times have people said that Campbelltown isnt supportive of the WTs and thats why they dont get big crowds,maybe this move could help the WTs because it was a traditional ground of the Mighty Magpies....doesnt matter how many times people want to argue,Magpies and Balmain traditional teams make up the Great WTs...it could even become a good way of people who follow the younger Magpies and Balmain players trying to get into the WTs NRL squad become supporters and members of WTs...

Yes and the thread is in the feeder club sub forum..last I checked The Magpies are Wests Tigers Feeder Club..as are Wests and Balmian Ball and Matts..

I'll ask again should that not be allowed..?
