For anyone sore that Magpies or Wests Tigers have turned their back on Campbelltown, direct your anger towards Wests leagues club at Campbelltown.

They have enormous financial capacity to support the club but walked away many years ago.

This is a West’s Tigers forum mate! If you don’t want to re invent the old divide, maybe you should create a magpie forum.

The thread is in the feeder club section of the forum, the OP posted it in the appropriate place. Wests Magpies are a feeder team to the Wests Tigers.

Yes and the thread is in the feeder club sub forum..last I checked The Magpies are Wests Tigers Feeder Club..as are Wests and Balmian Ball and Matts..

Wests Tigers only have a presence in Macarthur because of the Magpies, and now the Magpies are making some retreating moves?

I see it as the beginning of the end of Cambo... Sad in a way, 30+ years farting around for nothin.
But I've no connection to Cambo... I was 24 when Wests left Lidcombe had many more things on my mind back then, but I felt like I lost my team, growing up in Ashfield,... Playing in Wests juniors going to school next to the club..

Yes it does.

I will still support them and try and get out to a few games (have been to the last few "Back to Lidcombe" days), but this is another example of the lack of engagement with the south west.

I guess you feel now how many of us felt in 87... Not nice.
It's in the blood though.

Great news might get to a few games now its only 15 mins from Ashfield.

Also of course it should be posted here. I believe the jersey even has a wests tigers logo on the shoulder so def wests tigers related news.

Good to see the club focusing on the inner west/ west regions imo where the COE is, where 6/10 sydney games are.

My impression is the Council Members really don’t like Rugby League, at least since 2000. All the Rugby League initiatives in the area have come from other sources. I’d be happy to be proven wrong.

This move is mainly for the RMC side. The State Cup side will play selected games there. I would imagine those games would be against teams like Newtown.

Not sure if correct, but I think I heard quite a while back that the $1 a year deal was for the Bulls to take over responsibility for maintenance of the ground as part of the deal.

It's pretty obvious that we didn't stand a chance with that deal after Josh Aloiai packed up his lawn mower and headed for the Northern Beaches.
