The last coach did not have our team playing well.
I’ll jog your memory, 0-5 to start the year, and not at all throughout his tenure did he have us playing consistently well.

I thought Sakauru and Ogden ran hard, Seyfarth and Simpkins had a couple of good charges and Reilly was solid in defence. Wakeham was diabolical in the first half and, on that uneven performance, Laurie does not deserve promotion.

I thought Jake Arthur was strong for the Eels. Any chance of pinching him?

Yep, 1st time I've seen Sakauru play, and I was impressively surprised.
Just gotta hope he keeps it up as he could be soon knocking on Our 1st grade door.

Webster was our NRL assistant coach a few
years ago. Solid guy, good coach. I think you
are thinking about Ben Gardiner who we
stupidly let go of and didn't promote to HC
when Noddy had a crack last few games...

Yes and I’ve said this before, for a number of seasons now, but it would be nice about getting the little things right by having the website for all teams updated and keeping supporters informed as suggested above. Some players have photos, lot don’t, incomplete, missing or out of date. Sorry - not acceptable.

If I am in business or am interested in looking at who I might be dealing with, I check out the company’s website for a start. If it’s incomplete or not current, that raises a red flag. I’d also like to think the leaders of the club would check things like this out. Not a good look for the brand.

Will it win us a comp? No of course not - but if we can’t do these basics, funny how it seems to reflect other areas. There is no excuse for sloppiness.

The Open days etc have been good and a start. I commend that. Generally, most communications have improved imo.

That said, rant over - love this club always.

Onwards and upwards.

What ever you can do to have a relationship connection with your customers other than the fact that you want their money for the service/product you provide, the better it is for your organisation in the long run. It should be about joining our family, not buy a membership. Give the fans the little things that are low cost but build the relationship connection like having full team and injuries list up to date.
I’ve said before if we are a pathways club we should be proactive and any young bloke we have signed or making the step up should be noted with a little preview thingy on the site giving us the heads up so we can follow their progress all the way through to grade. I try to do this now that’s why when we lose one like Katoga I get a bit annoyed.

Photos of the team on the website might be a nrl thing.
 
Can anyone tell me in today's injury report how Brandon Tumeth is due to be returning this week yet nowhere to be seen in team lists & Rua Ngatikaura is out until round 9 yet is listed in our NSW Cup team.

I wish our club would take some pride in accuracy fair dinkum!
