Alex Lobb ‘ster’has scored 3. He’s a damn site better fullback than he is a winger . Hunt very damaging today . Must be in the mood this week! The hooker Eden Ackland ( replacing Hope is playing well. Tuitupou-Thompson is a dead set first grade winger . Better than Skelton

28-14 FT. An ugly win but we'll take it.
The whole team apart from Lovodua and Mapapalangi gave a good account of themselves. The standouts were Tui'tupou (again) along woth Lobb and Hunt.

Alex Lobb channelling prime Tommy Turbo in the game today! Never seen him play so well!
Great win by the boys. Roycey stood up well today which should impress Benji.
Naden pulled off at the end with 10 to go....maybe a sign he will be called up to NRL?

Decent effort today against very young opposition barring Townsend & Makatoa.
Alex Lobb played the best game I have seen him play for the club - 3 tries, chimed into backline well, safe with kicks at the back, but a couple of poor attempted tackles. Happy for him but he's NSW Cup standard at best.
We won the forward battle hip hip hooray. Jaxson Rahme was huge in his stints, Royce Hunt was destructive and today was a demonstration of the impact we need from him, Peter Taateo once again ran and defended with intent & Kit Laulilii was also impactful especially in his 2nd stint.
Our win was orchestrated once again by Kurt Falls, but like Lobb, he's just a very good NSW Cup level player.
Naden was rocks'n diamonds. Made a good incisive run, produced a try saver, missed a tackle causing a try & dropped an easy ball in his own 20m ... that sort of Naden game.
Tuitupou & Staines were huge again. Both knocking on Benji's door.
We keep alive our Top 5 hopes.

Lobb must be off contract and if he or Naden are in FG next week it will be a training run for the rorters.

He is a Cup player only but has showed his best position is fullback.

I read somewhere this is the first time this year he’s turned up to watch our reserve grade team.
Surely that can’t be true.

It was Lobster Mornay from Alex today. He was cutting the Roosters defence to shreds and almost scored a fourth try in what was the greatest game of his career. Every dog has his day and he'll remember this one for the rest of his life. Good on ya Lobster!

Maybe AD to the halves and Naden to centre next week
Hamstring tightness - don't think it was anything bad just not worth a risk first game back after being out a long time
