That forward who played for Easts, said on the Johns show last night that when he played with Richards in England he kicked a 90 metre field goal. Only in practice but shows what he is capable of doing.

I saw him kick a 70 metre ( on the full ) line drop out in a game for Wigan.

Would that be a record in the NRL for the most passes thrown before a field goal? The only other one that comes to mind is Anasta's one against us, but I doubt it was anywhere near that many.

The field goal was the real game breaker. Newcastle dropped their heads after that.

i have no doubt at all that Richards is the buy of the season
To think that there was many on this forum that were writing him off before giving him a chance this year, and still, there are those who cannot see his total class….jeez there are lots of poor judges here.

I think the objective behind that is to blood youth in the team for long term success

IMO if patty was 24 today he would have been close to SOO selection .

The only thing that Pat lacks is an ability to be dangerous when running the ball back after a kick. He never breaks the line. Don't know why that is. Guess he just can't get up enough momentum.
