Funny, I thought the same thing when I read the OP. Had one of the worst halves of footy in recent memory, was really only there since half their pack was missing and you think he's worth picking up?

Onto topic, Paul Carter had a bad game last week and you believe he isn't worth picking up? He is a top player, still developing, would be a great replacement for Dene when he leaves and would bolster our pack depth.

It was an innocuous joke mate, when you get older and life really starts to bend you over that barrel you'll learn it's healthy not to take life so seriously all the time. No one asked you not to post. I may have disagreed with your initial post but I didn't feel the need to elaborate on my opinion until you decided to break your own rule and suggest that I not voice my opinion simply because you don't share it.

And no, I don't believe that he is quite worth picking up yet. He's chock full of potential, but so are guys like Sirro, Liolevave, Seve, Milone, Hoeter. They're a dime a dozen, he's done nothing to suggest yet that he'll be a full time NRL player yet. I got caught up in the hype at first and when I watched him I was nonplussed. If he does kick on, I will be happy to say I am wrong.

Not sure about that. Don't think Greg Bird had been arrested as many times as Carter has at that age

Greg Bird is a much worse human being than Paul Carter:

part of the fun of forums is having differing views and outlooks. i like to look at it as interesting that people think so differently from me.
