I felt at the time that Moma had a place here at the Tigers.

I dont see BJ and JTJ going the entire season.

Perhams TommyT is the answer for us..

I think Tommy is going to have to be...

Momo was very good tonight. I hope our centres are that good.

I don’t know about very good.
He knocked on in his own 20.
He should of passed to Staines instead went himself and lost it over the line.
He failed to give Staines good ball for most of the game.

He was bound to get space as all the backs do at rhe Panthers when the forwards roll and Api/Cleary/Edwards/Yeo/Luani run the wide plays.

So....not as good as JL or the jet?

No still not as good

Sorry Av, no one is believing that, not even you.

I don’t rate Momo at all.

Ps - I wasn’t the one who downvoted your post

I know you don't rate him, but surely you have to admit he's better than the two we had out there today.
Having said that, I think Roberts was guilty of trying too hard and some errors attributed to him weren't his fault. I think we'll see some good things from him. BJ. Well, that's another story.

The scoreboard wouldn’t have been better with Momo playing for us today.

That's a dumb quote. The scoreboard would have been different if anyone was in place of BJ.

Now thats a dumb quote. You starting center in place of BJ we would of been thumped given you said anyone...... BTW Momo doesn’t play on the left & we traded for Laurie, so if we kept Momo Laurie wouldn’t have joined but keep going.

I still agree that Laurie for Momo was a good deal and Laurie was very good first up. I've always said that. What I've also said is that Momo is a very good centre, which half this forum don't agree with. I think ***this weekend*** was an opportunity to compare what we let go to what we actually did keep.

You think THIS weekend is a good opportunity to compare? So this weekend in flogging rain with One team as last years Grand Finalists against one of the favourites for the spoon is a great comparison for us against a guaranteed top 4 team? That is your idea of a good comparison?

Played well on a wet track against a average dogs team, let's see if he can continue against better teams in dry conditions

Bottom line for me, if we got Mommers back and we had to lose JTJ, I would be devastated.

RIGHT NOW, I would also be very upset if Mommers replaced BJ. IF BJ keeps up the bone head impression for an extended time, that opinion could change.

FWIW, I dont see many give him a "flogging". IMO there seem to be a few here that really pump his tyres up and I think there are a few of us that dont understand it.

For mine, if he was still at the club, he would be the third centre behind JTJ and BJ and potentially if BJ maintains his lack of intelligence Momo could move up that list.

Turned out to get Laurie, it was a good deal to let him go, we have two centres better than him, a bigger faster winger and IMO it was a good deal to let him go, but he isnt a bad player.

Just hope our 2 centres play to their potential and we start getting a bit more cohesive out there.

Well, the Jet isn’t playing now.

While BJ has brain explosions and Jet spends 3/4 of the season on the sidelines, Momo will be playing in a top 4 team scoring tries left right and centre . The Momo baggers must be hiding in their shells

No ...why would we be hiding in our shells ?
Madge has gotten rid of most of the dead wood and even I’d look good in that Pamfers side .
Can’t believe the hardon some of you lot have over ex players 🙄

No hard feelings mate I just didn’t get some of the criticism towards him. I think he’s a quality first grader who would have filled a hole, but of course The addition of Laurie was more
Important

Just hope our 2 centres play to their potential and we start getting a bit more cohesive out there.

Well, the Jet isn’t playing now.

Omg!!! It only took 1 game for this crock to break down. Well at least we get Talau out there now.

He goes ok ( nothing to get overly excited about ) and looks better in a top side but I wouldn’t reverse the deal and lose Laurie.
And let’s face it , the Dogs haven’t troubled the score sheet in 2 games ?

I have frequently talked up Momo, I think he's a good footy player. I'm a bit disappointed he's no longer with us. BUT, and it's a big but, we didn't lose him for nothing, we lost him for Laurie, who I believe can be a superstar.

And Roberts has has a much higher ceiling than Momo.
