Just hope our 2 centres play to their potential and we start getting a bit more cohesive out there.

Well, the Jet isn’t playing now.

What? Is he injured?

Im happy to put my hand up and say I was certainly one on here critical of Momorovski and I saw the game today, and he was strong. I will eat my words when he is still playing that good at the end of the year.

Taking nothing away from him, he did well today. But it was late and against possibly the wooden spooners or close to it. Same last week, although his game wasnt that good. I'll be back to eat my words when he plays the top 6 teams and still plays that good. If he does, call me out and I'll accept my punishment.

All that changes nothing for me though, Im happy that he left and wish him well.

Apparently a shoulder issue?

It’d be more fun if we could just knife you in the back now😂😂😂

Take a number and wait......

I was never critical of Mommers, but also, he's currently a middle-road footballer. Has real football smarts but, IMO, lacks the overall athleticism to go to the next level.

Won't do you wrong in your FG side, so long as you don't try and put him at FB.

Can Momo play fullback?!

NO

We learnt a harsh lesson when we did thaf against sharpies

I know ..
I was there ?
I thought I was watching AFL ?

Christ knows what some fanboys see in him ..
The mind boggles ?

Momo was very good tonight. I hope our centres are that good.

I don’t know about very good.
He knocked on in his own 20.
He should of passed to Staines instead went himself and lost it over the line.
He failed to give Staines good ball for most of the game.

He was bound to get space as all the backs do at rhe Panthers when the forwards roll and Api/Cleary/Edwards/Yeo/Luani run the wide plays.

So....not as good as JL or the jet?

No still not as good

Sorry Av, no one is believing that, not even you.

I don’t rate Momo at all.

Ps - I wasn’t the one who downvoted your post

I know you don't rate him, but surely you have to admit he's better than the two we had out there today.
Having said that, I think Roberts was guilty of trying too hard and some errors attributed to him weren't his fault. I think we'll see some good things from him. BJ. Well, that's another story.

The scoreboard wouldn’t have been better with Momo playing for us today.

That's a dumb quote. The scoreboard would have been different if anyone was in place of BJ.

Now thats a dumb quote. You starting center in place of BJ we would of been thumped given you said anyone...... BTW Momo doesn’t play on the left & we traded for Laurie, so if we kept Momo Laurie wouldn’t have joined but keep going.

I still agree that Laurie for Momo was a good deal and Laurie was very good first up. I've always said that. What I've also said is that Momo is a very good centre, which half this forum don't agree with. I think ***this weekend*** was an opportunity to compare what we let go to what we actually did keep.

You think THIS weekend is a good opportunity to compare? So this weekend in flogging rain with One team as last years Grand Finalists against one of the favourites for the spoon is a great comparison for us against a guaranteed top 4 team? That is your idea of a good comparison?

How can a bloke score 16 tries in 21 games cop a bagging from anyone except a very poor judge. Keep going, you’ll look even worse by seasons end.

Honestly I don't think anyone is bagging him, it is more that we needed Laurie more than we needed Momers.

Lament thread?

On one hand I think Who cares if we made another dud decision, it will be one of dozens and doesn't warrant essays everytime he plays. Ditto for Benji, if we cared we would watch souffs and and Penriff.

On the other hand we could have used him this week or any week in place of Joey.

While BJ has brain explosions and Jet spends 3/4 of the season on the sidelines, Momo will be playing in a top 4 team scoring tries left right and centre . The Momo baggers must be hiding in their shells

No ...why would we be hiding in our shells ?
Madge has gotten rid of most of the dead wood and even I’d look good in that Pamfers side .
Can’t believe the hardon some of you lot have over ex players ?

Happy told us that you get a hardon when you look in the mirror...

physically wrong yes,a winner no doubt, had the smarts 2 3 times today to plant ball over correct line,fb not so sure of that

Tommy T will be moving into the forwards a wide running second rower Imo.

Narh I think his place is in the centre’s, he’s only being used of the bench because the coach wants him in the 17. Next year he’ll take joeys spot permanently.

Laurie to WT s for sure but we should have kept Momirovski. Joey Leilua should have gone to the Panthers but would they have taken him?

Can’t disagree with that thinking when I try to make some sense from letting go Moma and keeping BJ. BJ shades Moma with his D and experience. Why not benefit from BJ’s aggressive presence for the next season? He has a snowballs chance of playing a full season which gives Talau some more game time while showing him the door to being a starting centre. That succession plan doesn’t exist with a much younger Moma, which means we would eventually have lost Tommy to another club.

Momorovski has one of the most hyped wingers in the game outside him yet doesn't pass to him. smart footballer except for this.

Staines will be regretting signing a contract with them if that keeps going on. 2023 isn't that far away
