1\. Beau Ryan on national tele says he has signed but indeed he hasn't. And then never follows up?

2\. Hino has one year remaining and is told it probably won't be renewed. Chases security with the Sharks on a longer deal

The way these players are reacting, is indicative of the problem at the Tigers in the first place. They feel they deserve their spots, deserve respect, deserve to avoid accountability.

I don't have an issue with what Rhino or Beau have done

They have to look after their futures and if the Tigers aren't prepared to give them a contract that keeps them comfortable in their eyes good luck to them finding another

I bet if the Tigers offerred them comparable contracts they stay

So who's fault is that ?? Clear to see they were unwanted at Tigertown

We need to revamp the place so if you not going to move the coach, you have to move quite a few players and if they are under contract you can only move players that other clubs are interested in. Its pretty simple really although it could not do much for the morale of the place. Anyway a good start to the season and all is forgotten very quickly

I have no problems these 2 players leaving , my only concern is the way the club went about it .
Surely the club new Heighington was not wanted and could of gave him a send of vs the Storm at Leichardt.
I was more gutted when Brett Hodgson left our club to then find out he got men of steel in the English Super League and is still playing brilliant footy. Another of Sheenious decisions :crazy

What's going on right now is exactly like the end of a relationship. Only the two people involved know exactly what's happened and why it's ended. The rest of us can speculate, take sides, get angry etc but none of those reactions are likely to be in response to the actual truth.

Yes, it would've been great to give Heighno a send off, but how do we know that could even have been possible. He was contracted for next year, and even if he knew the club would release him if he could find a longer deal elsewhere, that deal may have only materialized in the last week or two (possibly in response to Smith asking for a release from the sharks). So you can't farewell a bloke in rd26 if he has nowhere else to go at that point and you believe he'll still be with you. But again, I have no knowledge of the actual truth so am just offering an alternative point of view.

I loved Hodgo to death , but in all honesty he had lost that half a yard of pace that made him dangerous in the NRL

He still would be a good player don't get me wrong , but comparing him to 2005 form and now would be poles apart

Hodgo was the same problem - wanted several years when we were only prepared to offer 1\. I am glad he is going well in Super League, but that competition is a comfortable grade below the NRL, we all know that.

Humpty was even quoted in Rothfield latest spin 'He wished they were with us next year'… This does look like the doings of Player Managers once again, but they are immune to critisism from the fans as they are faceless in all of this.

Your definetley right about Hodgo there , he'd be of the pace now no doubt about it , but at the time when he was released still had 2 or 3 years left in him in the NRL.

Well put SC. It's pretty simple. With tough decisions come difficult predicaments. With the players that are moving on, morale will always take a hit. Now though, as it appears, the club will stick with Sheens for 2013\. The focus now turns to the all important next step forward. The plan for the squad between now and pre season is vital. They have made their bed now, it's time to make this work. Because if it don't? That'll be all tiger tim.

Not telling 'us' what is happening isnt being dishonest, and not telling the players (if they are out of the loop) isnt being dishonest either…

Sacking and Employing is all apart of Management. Someone has to do it!
