That's footy with these refs mate.
There is a thing called the halo effect, a scientifically proven effect where being favoured means you are more likely to benefit from bias. We've seen it two weeks in a row. When the muppets cotton on that we won't be going away we will start to benefit from it.

The thing is, a 19 year old psychology student could probably work out that's what happens to the "lowly" teams but the NRL can't. I respect the swearing ban, so I'm stopping there.

Great post. Our ex coach came in promising improvements in defence and we leaked 100 points in 3 games. 12 months later and we have let in 25 points in 3 games and could easily be 3-0\. Win lose or draw , im so proud of the boys and Ivan. This new culture is there for everyone to see and you can see they don’t want to let each other down. Well done tigers keep it up.

Realistically we all questioned last year that ivan failed to sign a recognized goal kicker….we had a goal kicker we'd be 3-0 this morning and all happy

Defensively the improvement has been nothing short of sensational, let's face it, we've never seen anything close to this type of defence from our side before.

The attack, hopefully will come together sooner rather than later.

We have what we have in the squad. That's it.
If we had recruited goal kicking winger who let in a try a game we'd be 0 - 3.

I half agree in that I think someone else should have kicked -Benji, but he misses plenty of sitters too.

This is a team on the improve and Ivan has put his mark on the squad not just in players but in attitude. Realistically many people had us at 0-5 before the season started due to our draw so we are ahead of where we ‘should’ be.
