============================================================================

Even though I don't like the guy, I actually like his way of thinking here. Strong side.
3 Tigers named (and Robbie as captain) also butters me up a bit, I must admit

Perry & Gallen = Fail for mine.

I wonder what Rothfields angle is in all of this

Hmm interesting.

Waterhouse has not played a game yet this year and I am not convinced Carney is the right man for the utillity role…

But three TIgers players, I can live with that!

Decent side but Greg Bird is not a five-eighth for mine, I don't care that he's playing there for the Titans. We need to score points and he isn't creative enough.

The back 5 are spot on. Waterhouse, Bird & Perry are well down on form and shouldn't come into contention. O'Donnell, Soward and Rose/Tolman/Bailey/Lahrs/Cross instead and you've got yourself a team.

Not a bad side at all

Waterhouse - Injury and match fitness - Question
Perry - Jury out if he is agressive enough
Bird - I like, very agressive - Maybe anothe half like Campese @ 6

Leave Robbie alone, He has had a really bad run in Origin games to the point where most of my non tiger mates reckon he's a choker.

For Me Paul Gallen Captain for sure.

I can't stand that rosy cheeked knob but i have to agree with him on this one.Except for Waterhouse
I would put O'Donnell.
Three tigers as well :righton:

Gallen is going rubbish this year.

Rothfield has picked the backs on form and the forwards on reputation.

I think 1-7 are the form players in their positions aside from Bird who looked very good in his last game.

The forwards are rubbish.

I would take our pack over that one any day of the week.

the guy is a massive goose. I have been watching him and the other Tele journos and he just said he wants Collis dropped to NSW Cup equiv as he has been really disappointed with his form. The poor guy has been injured and comes back and gets injured in his first game back.

Not a bad side but I wouldn't have perry and until waterhouse shows his form for the year I don't think he can be included.

Played real bad against Souths - Agree 100% - However he has got the Agro and the attitude that the Blues seem to lack in Origin.

Same goes for Bird, not setting the world on fire yet.

Im hoping these guys really crack it over the next few weeks.

Gallen has always been shown up in Origin. Has always been controlled, thrown stupid balls and gone nowhere.

Problem is he is a very individual style player, no teamwork

yeah that pretty much sums him up smeg, too many dumb plays in his game, and gives away too many penalties..

Personally I think it's a bit too early to start predicting SOO teams. I'd like to wait till about 2 weeks before team selections are due.
