Mcdonnell has far to much say on many things and does little in his own role. Identifying kids in your system doesnt count. His claim to fame is Ellis but that was a tip from Mark oneill. He did give us his son and jason cayless, michael buetner, ryan Ohara shall i go on?

Well the players and a number of journos are said to know exactly who is destabilising the club, but aren't going to say anything publicly.

How many options are there? Payten or McDonnell?

Hard to believe either of them are really in that strong of a position to influence the whole club, but I guess it only takes a few sms or phone calls here and there to destabilise the club!

McDonnell has what a part time role reading articles about school kids and occasionally going to tournaments. If he has a full time contract he must have a lot of free time on his hands!!

Payten would have more obvious reason for wanting to destabilise the club, but surely he isn't stupid enough to think that he could cause trouble, get the coach sacked and then get the top spot himself when everyone knew he was causing trouble in the first place?

Just one thing that doesn't add up, I can't work out for the life of me how it took 61 years to weed out McDonnell.
If I was to have a bet on who is responsible, McDonnell doesn't appeal at all. A stayer never wins the golden slipper, try a up and comer the odds will be bigger when you collect.

Pretty sure junior recruitment is Mcd's only responsibility.If this is the case hes done a marvellous job.The same people calling for his downfall are the same ones that for so long said Stephen Humphreys was doing a great job.Yes we need to replace some scum just not sure of which shade.
