PIZZA

At our household we loved ( and still do) pizza so much, my better half decided to build a wood fired pizza oven. One day he brought home some fire bricks and did just that.
Best thing ever. Highly recommended. The oven is 15 years old and still getting lots of use.
Needless to say the best pizzas are home made, at Mamas place!

There use to be place in Lake Maq area - Marks Point - called Roberto's.
They also sold Wood-Fire ovens.

They're either closed down temporary or forever but their pizza was amazing.
Use to get a mexican pizza…. tasted like nachos. It was the best.

Any other Newcastle guys?
Also one at Cardiff called Cardiff Seafood & Pasta near the Iron horse pub

& Adam's Ribs @ Adamstown.

Best in the area.

CRUST is over priced and average.
Doesn't make u feel sick like Dominos tho.

I prefer the small family owned places down the shops over Dominoes, Pizza Hut ect

Panarotti's at MacArthur Square isn't half bad either

If your even in Hervey Bay their is Mimo's pizza place at the Urangan Shopping Centre in the Woolworths centre

The pizzas are massive and weigh a tonne

I challenge anyone to eat a whole pizza from this place , two pieces had me thinking I'd swallowed a brick

Sounds like this place - http://www.guidos.com.au/

Not too far from mine and do a huge NY style pizza that is huge.

No mate , that was Watto's wallet falling out of his pocket

People have this perception that the best Pizzas are in Italy…..Bollox , Go to Argentina and the Pizzas in Buenos Aires are unbelievable . They serve it on a timber board about 50cm x 30cm , when you grab a slice the cheese is still attached to the slice next to it and like a long spaghetti of cheese still attached to the board .
Truly amazing never had anything close to it here in Australia.

YUMM…. Sounds like my pizzas FT.. Extra cheesy.

The Darling in Pyrmont is pretty damn good. And right next to the Pyrmont Bridge Hotel if you want to "work up an appetite".

I dont agree, lived in both countries Italy has definately the better pizza, Argentina are good probably due to having the largest migration of italians…
Just saying......perception is usually from what people have experienced...

Ive been to Italy several times and loving Italian cuisine in other countries including Oz, was often dissapointed with the genuine article.

Re pizza…there's a dude in Port Douglas named Silvio that does a pulled pork with orange and lemon chutney pie covered with jalapeños that is a favourite of mine.
