PIZZA

Rosso Pomodoro in Balmain is one of the few places in Australia that actually make pizza. Napoli in bocca in haberfield is also pretty good as are a few around there. Leichhardt has gone so far backwards it's not funny!

Most pizzas in Australia are awful. Either way too many ingredients which leaves to a generic bland taste or simply crap ingredients in the first place!

Of the cheap crap Domino's is the best is the lot. Pizza Hut is good awful American crap and Crust is woeful, so expensive for bland crap!

People have this perception that the best Pizzas are in Italy…..Bollox , Go to Argentina and the Pizzas in Buenos Aires are unbelievable . They serve it on a timber board about 50cm x 30cm , when you grab a slice the cheese is still attached to the slice next to it and like a long spaghetti of cheese still attached to the board .
Truly amazing never had anything close to it here in Australia.

Via napoli in lane cove is by far the best pizza i have ever tasted either here or Italy or NY or Argentina
They do a 2m long pizza that given to you on a plank of wood. And there antipasto menu is top notch as well

Will have to give that a crack next time I'm In Sydney sounds really good.
Do they charge per metre

Agree with the comment about Crust but Dominos is absolute garbage.
Their season chicken is better than Pizza Hut's chicken but Pizza hut is a better product.

Both fall short compared to home made pizza or proper pizza shops tho.

There from Napoli Italy, obviously learnt there trade there….
But pizza lovers should be happy, there are alot of young italians moving here to try and get a job most end up in hospitality which is a bonus for us.
