Player fire sale just weeks away

I hope no club helps them in any way and they have to put the same team on the field next year.

No Woods no Foran club a shambles and fans o the warpath.

That would be GOLD.

Would not pay more than 300k for any of those bulldog players listed

No and i hope every club feels the same way.

Make them suffer.

Des has never believed in developing player's only buying established 1st graders.

Time to let him suffer

Is funny that despite all their cap issues they have resigned Elliot and Holland

I would consider taking Brenko Lee and also Brad Abbey at a bargain basement price

Is Pascoe and his Newcastle counterpart smart enough to get together and work on a strategy in this situation?

That's my question.

Nathan Brown said the other day he knew Bulldogs were in trouble with their cap and he was going to make them sweat, and then he would get the players they wanted at a bargain basement price.
He also said the WT were doing the same, so maybe both clubs are working together to screw the Bulldogs over.

Awesome. That's sounds great. The likes of Dib and Politis scheme together so it would be nice to be on the other side for once. Brown's no dummy.

They are the 2 clubs with the power to really hurt the bulldogs but like you said are they smart enough?

God i hope so

I sure hope Newcastle go well next season. Brown thoroughly deserves it. A-class bloke

Don't worry about next week .. its already started:
James Graham = Around $1+ mil
Morris twins = upwards of $700+ k each (back ended)
Moses Mybe = $800 k
Greg Eastwood = $800+ k

700k for Graham would be a good swap for woods or Eastwood for near 300k )

Let them sweat it out

Not vying for any of their players.

I'll take Graham after we squeeze every cent out of them though.

What about Aiden Tolman? He hasn't been great at Canterbury, but if I want anyone to come across it is the 2x polar Bears (Aiden and James Graham).

Someone else is under cap pressure, whom? Probably good pickings at the Cowboys if Thurston plays next year. Sharks and the Eels would be fairly close to the cap limit too.

Then again we don't know who we need till next year shows us who will work out and who were the duds.

Graham is finished. I wouldn't take anyone from the Dogs apart from Elliot, Klemmer or Jackson. The rest are a waste of a roster spot.

I'd take Graham in an instant. Still got a couple of good years in him and would be a great leader for our young forwards coming through

I would not take any of these bulldog duds for any money. The Bulldogs are in a bigger mess than we were with RF, with their backended contracts. There all old, past it, have not shown anything this year. They will have trouble getting both Foran and Woods. Getting Woods back is what i would be angling for.

All going to the Roosters and they are paying full price and just got them all in under the cap.
